You have no idea what you are talking about. I now have Power of Attorney because my mother has Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s and my father who is almost 92 is very hard of hearing and gets confused mainly because he can’t hear me down the phone. Telling him to go anywhere else apart from his local Halifax was not an option as he would struggle to understand what he would have to do.Seems like you are picking such a method just to be difficult, there are plenty of other (more sensible) ways of getting money to them.
The problem is now resolved as the Halifax have agreed he can go to his local branch without a card and still withdraw money.
