I have a Galaxy S2 which is great.
I have an application that records phone calls, Although the sounds is a little quiet it works well. Seems not all android phones will record both sides of the conversation.
I noticed a problem the other day, Whilst in the car the phone rang, No problem, Bury handsfree kit installed (bluetooth).
All i got was feedback though, I could occasionally hear the other person between the squeaks and squawks, They could not hear me at all.
If i close the recorder app it works fine on the handsfree.
Is there an app that can close the recorder when connected to bluetooth and reopen it when not connected?
Or a simple one touch app that will switch bluetooth on if not already and disable the app? Then another press to disable bluetooth and enable the app?
Looked at a few Android forums and they seem to talk about rooting a lot and other questions get neglected.
My phones not rooted.
Thanks.

Sounds like feedback from the mic,
have you played around with the volume settings in the recording app, also there are volume settings in the settings menu - the one that might be of concern is 'media volume'.
Also when you got the recorder app open & running use the volume up & volume down buttons to adjust the 'in call volume'
Thats all I can think of0 -
Most Android call recording apps work by recording what comes out of the speaker, which is why it tends to be quiet, and probably why you're getting feedback.
You could try Tasker to see if it could do what you want.0 -
On my OSF I've noticed some custom roms allow 2-way recording without using separate aps, and some don't (2-way rec is something I'm used to from my old HTC s620 win-mo 6 phone).
Would require rooting though afaik in order to even use a custom rom.0 -
I installed one of those recorders last year on my wildfire. I uninstalled it (and did a factory reset much later) when it didn't work. When it was recording, it made a kind of babbling brook sound...i still get it occasionally when i'm talking on the phone...makes me think that it's not uninstalled and it's still recording my conversations and storing them....somewhere... *tin foil hat*0

You will be able to do this using Tasker, available from the Android Market.
Well worth the money for all the things it allows you to do.

That makes sense now...
I think i tried tasker from their site not the market so got a free trial, I didnt have a clue how to start and end a task so uninstalled it.
So starting and ending the app whilst bluetooth is on could be an option or disable the mic when bluetooth is on?
Might have a look into that again.
Thanks everyone.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
