  • This is absolutely ciminal!

The man who tried to sell me an investment in Store First (Harry) had the audacity, after I told him never to call me again, to phone me the next day and try and sell me time share in Greece ...
  • i DO NOT agree with these comments about Store First , i have met Toby (the owner) and i know he would be willing to come here to this forum and answer any questions or problems anyone has with these investments, of course he has some bad press or failed investments, you can not bake a cake without breaking a few eggs ...

He was a very Genuine guy when i spoke spoke with him.

Brilliant financial logic there, "you can't bake a cake without breaking a few eggs".
You could get food poisoning if the eggs are bad though.
  • Sorry to bump this old thread BUT.....

If you do invest into these schemes store first and park first.... the reward for them is after two years when you have to pay them to service your parking or storage locker. That upfront fee disappears very quickly when you end up paying them..

I do agree that Store First is OK to invest. Considering it's worth the minimum risk and therefore, I recommended it on behalf as a new executive in it.

Invested £140,000 in October 2011, still to see more than £2500 in returns. Ruth Almond (Storefirst) made an offer last June to buy back the POD's at price paid (In exchange for me to stop posting my tale) which I accepted. Still waiting for offer to be actioned. I would not trust this company in any way shape or form. All statements from investment and correspondence with Storefirst are open to viewing if anyone doesn't believe me. Have now started legal action.

Ruth Almond resigned as director on 30th April. You need to get back in touch asap.
  • If buying storage units from store first.
    please note the following

1/ ONLY the first 2 years are guaranteed at 8% after that the following 2 years are guaranteed projected at 10% ( either it is guaranteed or projected can not be both ) they have a get out clause in the contract they call a break clause this means after the first 2 years they can use this clause which means if they do then you will only be paid for the periods the pod is occupied minus their 12.5% commission you will also pay them ground rent ( although this is very small ) however you can find your own agent or rent it yourself. they have a buy back option again this is their option if you want to sell to them after 6 years they have the option to buy or not. this break clause has been used in their leeds depo

it amazes me that people still invest in these sorts of things, store first, park first, 'pods', land etc etc.
financial education should feature in schools.
