    To the angry people - come on, give me a break, I'm not a mechanic (otherwise I would have fixed it myself) and therefore have no idea how much garages are supposed to charge. So try and be nice. Much appreciated, thanks.

    youve had an itemised bill
    i dont see that going to one eyed bill would have made it cheaper in fact once he had taken the engine out your labour bill might have been higher
    why not buy a haynes manual and have a read because im pretty certain they still have a section on things like fuse boxes relays and how to do basic circuit testing at home on your drive
