    Afternoon all. I didn't dare turn this on until I'd done something this morning. Too easily distracted. So I just decided to do something even if it's the "wrong" something!

    So, I've done the kitchen and bathroom properly and dusted and vacuumed the living room, hallway and kitchen. Will do a more thorough clean in the living room tomorrow.

    I've also been over the shops and paid the newspaper bill. Watched Lost from last night. And cut the grass out the front, including doing the edges properly. The back is still the Black Bog courtesy of my dog so that will have to dry out before I can touch that.

    Cooking lunch now. My back aches!

    Yard is done and is looking much better...just need to use the pressure washer on it now to get rid of the mould/moss & dirt that can't be rinsed away with the hosepipe :rolleyes: Also mopped the kitchen floor as the hosepipe squirted water all over it :mad:

    Oh well...off to tackle the livingroom, put the washing out and then I'm off for my bath. Laters :wave:

    Hello everyone!!

    Had a course this morning but did some bits before we left.

    Bed made and rooms tidied
    Fed, dress and all that stuff (+ 2 littles)
    Tidied kitchen
    Ironed Bedding (needs putting away)
    Hoovered & Dusted lounge (cleaned all door frames etc last week, plus painted last night so ok there!)
    Did kitchen floor
    Parcelled up ebay item
    Trip to postoffice
    Girls to park before playschool for DD1

    Just having a coffee and I guess I best grab something to eat as I have not got round to breakfast yet.

    I was very good and did not eat the cream egg last night, I list 3 more things on ebay instead! One item has 2 watchers already so hopefully that will sell as someone elses went for £19 last week. Got another item to list that I may get £10+ for but needs a scrub first.

    Other jobs for today, try to find someone to quote for "localised repointing" work that needs doing (chimney needs some doing too!). DH does not see the point in getting any of the items highlighted in the survey sorted (I DO!) all he says is we will drop the price down. I just think if its only gonna cost a few quid (please!!! though think I may be hoping here)to get a couple of the items sorted then it looks better to potential buyers, plus we can point out we have had the work done when they look round.

    Also rub down paintwork on outside brick shed - its looking grotty after all this wet weather and could do with a re-gloss!

    Right more coffee here I come

    Just the washing to put out then I'm off for a quick bath and to put some clean clothes on :o How can I get so dirty from washing the yard? Then I'll pop to school and get this form handed in. Can't think of anything else I need to do today :D Will check back later if I manage to cross anything else off the list. :wave:

    Afternoon ladies! oh I DO like these new weekly threads, it's all tidy and fresh :D

    juliejim Hope everything went as well as can be expected yesterday ((((hugs))))

    Well, no flylady challenge for me today (living room) as I've still got a housefull of kids (and they're not all mine lol) so decided to blitz DD#2's room as they'd been given free reign in there over the weekend providing she agreed to tidy it all back up again today - and she did - sort of! at least I can see the floor now, but it's taken forever to sort out her pile of clothes into outfits and hang them back up again :eek: so it's all ready for a good clean when the kids rooms come round again.

    * Pay rentDone
    * Go down town for birthday pressies/bread buns etc Done
    * Get weekly shopping Done - you could tell the kids were with me- total amount rose by £11 :eek: )
    * Dailies Done
    * Internet Banking Done
    * Swish & Swipe kitchen Done
    * Prepare tea Done
    * Some rubbish cleared out of garden and put in bin Done
    * DD#2's room Almost done Done
    * Put clean washing away in airing cupboard Done
    * School uniforms ready for tomorrow 1 x lot done 2 lots done

    Just having a break then I'm gonna finish off the things on my list. I can't wait for them to get back to school tomorrow - my routine's gone right out the window

    WOW that went quick and painless :D
    • Dailies
      • Evening meal - Lamb chops and mash potatoes with carrot & parsnip, maybe another veg as well...we'll see.
      • Packed Lunch for DD - waiting for her to get in as she has a new lunch box I got today and she hasn't seen it yet ;)
      • Uniforms - DD does this herself but I always double check so will have to wait until she gets in.
    • Sort mail- None yet :D
    • [strike]Filing[/strike] - done just now so all the important papers I needed for my CRB form are now AWAY again before they get lost :D
    • [strike]School to hand in (and check!) CRB form[/strike]
    Washing is out on the line, I've had a bath, gotten dressed into some jeans & a top, and even put on a small amount of make-up (I love tinted moisturiser ;) ). Went to post a survey on the way home from school and spotted DD playing out with her friends. She came running over to the fence calling me so I went over. I was dead chuffed when one of her friends said "Wow, you look gorgeous!" :D I haven't even heard that out of OHs mouth for years, or then again I think the best I've had off him is "you look nice, that suits you" ! :o This "Happy Housewives" thing is most definitely a good thing :D

    Off to get the veg out the fridge for tea and then I'm going to go and pick DD up. :D Laters :wave:
