Flylady Thread for Monday 26th February

I kept looking for the new list and was very excited to see it (getting a bit worried about myself!!) especially as it is the living room tomorrow and it was the one thing off my list that I didn't get finished today (trying to catch up as only started this flying last Wednesday.

Really pleased as I got just about everything on my weekend list done, apart from a couple of things I've added to my own list for tomorrow. Although back at work tomorrow it is an INSET day and I am on a course so have a slightly later start than usual (half an hour!) so hoping to get some jobs done before I leave. I just hope I'm not too tired to do the rest when I get home tomorrow night!

Dailies (or rather evening routines as there’s no chance of dailies when I’m out at work!)

Unload/load DW – don’t leave pots lying around[/SIZE]
• Put away clothes that I take off and put ready clothes for morning
• Gym bag ready
• Prepare lunch for next day
• Write list for next day including Moggins’ list
• Sweep kitchen floor (wash if necessary)
• Complete food diary and gym routine sheet
• Swish and shine bathroom washbasin[/SIZE]

My additional list for Monday is:

• Mark history books
  
• Work (separate list – about 2 hours) (6 items)
• Gym
• Finish sorting pile of papers in living room
• Fold and put away clean laundry
• check bank to see if paid then reconcile bank a/c
• WM – load and set timer
• Stuff out of freezer for Tues supper

Right, going to watch the last bit of Lewis and then put my things ready for morning. Start the week as I mean to go on!

Just reconciled last 3 months bank statements & receipts - hate that job as it always means an argument with DH about how much money we spend, what on, how we should save more, etc.....:mad:

Swimming with DS tomorrow and the roast lamb goes in the SC for a curry. Otherwise it's the usual plus clean my shoes/boots, get on top of ironing/washing, some clothes mending and spend some money at the shops :rolleyes:

2. Dust every surface and polish wooden furniture
3. Hoover sofa and check under seat cushions for lost items
4. Sort mail and do filing
5. Clean television screen
7. Clean inside of windows

Phew - the past four days have been hard work, but it's nice to be home again - albeit minus two sons! The house felt really strange this morning - Pigpen - could you lend me a couple of yours??

Wont go to bed till downstairs and upstairs is clear and tidy. Put the DW on before bed if needed etc.

I have lazed about for a bit while baby was watching teletubbies..and then I got cracking.
LR tidy now.. windowsils wiped.. room dusted...
I'll be running the hoover around in a minute, and tonight I will sort out the HEAP of toys collecting in the corner. There is only supposed to be one toy box there, but now there are three.. AND stuff is falling out all over the place! It needs sorting out again and deciding what stays in the LR and what goes back upstairs..

The floor will get mopped tonight as well.. when all the kiddies are in their beds.

Toilet is clean.. kitchen is tidy.. Time for a cuppa..

Lovely and quiet...shhhh . We had a busy birthday weekend. DD1 became a teenager, had sleepover and stayed up until 5am talking, giggling etc, As the girls got picked up, family and friends appeared.. HM chocolate cake and carrot cake were a success, so enjoying half an hour of peace..

But thanks to flying I was quite relaxed about all the visitors, didn't have to run around like a loony cleaning and clearing..Yahoo, I will become a perfect housewife yet!! (if there is such a thing:D )

Cleaning away all the airbeds and duvets I discovered someone spilled cherry ade on my DD lilac carpet, so I will try and get that out with Stardrops solution, unless someone else has a good idea..

WM already on for second time and airer filled

Living room not too bad, just need a good hoover (thanks to flying, I tidied up after everyone had gone home, washed up etc, in the past I would have left it all to deal with the next day) so this morning came down to tidyness!! Lovely..
