If you send it Royal mail Special Delivery and pay for Consequential Insurance, you will be covered if it goes astray. This cover is not just for the value of the contents (the paper) but any consequences that arise for its loss.

but if it does get lost do you actually get your money off RM or do they give you the usual BS about, wait 14 days, then you have to fill in a form claiming it's lost, then they send a form to the receipient to "confirm" they have not received it and if the recipient does not fill in the form = no money for you! if RM can't prove they delivered it then they should pay you compensation, but they make you jump through these hoops to try to stop you getting money back from them after they have taken your money and failed to provide the service! I have sent 5 letters recorded in the past yr all of which have not tracked on the website and 3 were not delivered. Did I get any compensation???? NO!
Does it work the same way for Special Delivery?? If yes then don't expect your money back if it gets lost. What I did was send 2 recorded, 1 1st class and 1 2nd class. I did get my cashback as I was with CPW who give you 2 months to send claims in, if I had been with any other company I would have not met the deadline.
The sooner this monopoly is broken up, the better!0 -
sending 2 is a good option. *hint hint* especially for u "thelink" customers.
but u must send originals. so call up your net provder and ask for another bill to be sent. or if your with 3 go to my three..... or colour photocopy the back and front0
