I'm a bit disappointed by the sneak look at this month's SSB - a very cheap, low end brand featured (not once but twice!?) Shame, I had problems last month too and didn't get the underwhelming box til a week ago...0

I disagree that they are a very cheap low end brand actually, some of their products are brilliant. Nail Polish as an example. The
Miners cosmetics from a previous box was cheap and low end IMO. The bronzer/blusher was what I got, the packaging was cheap looking and didnt last very long, even using it as sparingly as I use it!
The crisps is a puzzler because its not a beauty item but the ginvera marvel gel looks great-I have been wanting to try this for so long but its a little out of my budget-I just hope its not a sachet!! The DHC oil plus one of the collection cosmetics products more than covers the cost of the box so happy days!-its still loads better than grotty box!0 -
Crisps?! Really?! Pretty unimpressed with that. Mainly because I can't stand crisps, they could have at least put some chocolate in! :P0

No you're right, I actually am looking forward to trying those two items, I think I am just a bit bored of beauty boxes sending us things we can easily pop into Boots and buy for a couple of pound. I love trying new things that I would not usually buy myself, such as the oil, which I overlooked earlier. I do think Collection is a cheap brand but that doesn't necessarily mean it's no good

I have cancelled all of my beauty boxes because I'm subscribed to a German Beauty Box that is absolutely amazing.
Each month you get a 'main product' and then you get to chose 4 big samples on a first come first served basis.
This month the main product was a NYX Eyeshadow palette and a jumbo eye pencil so that was already worth more than the cost of the beauty box €10 incl postage(so around £8.50?)
My 'samples' were:
*Jimmy Choo perfume mini(4.5ml)
*Jil Sander Everose scented bodylotion(30ml)
*Hugo Boss Orange scented bodylotion(50ml)
*Orlane Night creme 15ml, which is worth roughly £50!!!

The box is limited to a few thousand boxes and subscribtions are highly sought after. I can only have it because my mum lives in Germany as you need a German address and credit card/bank account.
I'll never get rid of this beauty box again, that's how they should be, quality samples of exclusive brands. There's often items from Gucci, Shiseido, Clarins and many more included

Hi
After subbing to several boxes I come to the following conclusion:
Spoiler please don't read if you don't want to know what is in Shesaid.
I have 2 months left of a subscription with Glossy box and then it's going. I think there boxes are very hit and miss, sometimes I love the box but many are not cup of tea. They seem to have various ways of making there boxes sound good e.g. limited Edition boxes and because you do not know what you are going to get you keep resubbing only to discover it really was not worth it. There latest changes are making me more aware that the quality of the products are not going to be worth the money. For instance it used to say "5 luxury samples" but now it has been changed to "5 exciting beauty miniature". They are also going to do a more high end box for "select customers"that will cost you more. Bye Bye Glossy.
I have subbed to Shesaid since they began and have really loved their boxes, there has always been products that I have liked in each. But I was not impressed with August and now after reading the spoiler this month have realised that the quality of this box is fading fast. I can pick up Collection (2000) in the market very cheaply, I received the oil last month in glossy so don't really want that again. I not very happy that this months box has been sent out with the wrong names on them. I am wondering if I will actually get it as alot of my items end up at the sorting office and if it has not got my name on how am I going to be able to collect it?
If they have managed to get all the names and addresses mixed up I am wondering how safe my details are? Bye, Bye Shesaid.
Amarya I have a subscription till next April. I was not that keen at first since you get a full sizes product and a few sachets each month. But it has grown on me alot, some months I don't like what they send but on the whole it is great value for money. I paid £120 for the year (I subbed just before the postage got added). I received a Santerve set with my subscription (yes I can't spell) but that alone was worth over £50. I really like the fact that their product are organic and natural.
Luxbox, I subbed last month but am yet to receive a August box and they don't know either when we will receive it. This one will probably be going aswell.
I have finally come to the conclusion that why am I wasting my money on so many boxes when I give away so much. Instead I think I will reduce it to 1 beauty box and buy products I actually want. :T0
