  • I have had my E-one for 6 months and I have been really happy with the results. However, the trigger has broken and I would like to get it repaired. As the UK company is going into liquidation I have tried to contact the french company but they have failed to respond. Does anyone know where I can get my machine repaired please.

    Hi,
I'm really keen and have been saving to purchase the E-one IPL device, however having read your posts I'm a little apprehensive!

Does anyone know if the French will now agree to sell the device and extras or spares to customers in the UK? If not, are any other countries willing to supply to UK customers?

Please could anyone with an update post some further information asap!

    Thankyou.:j

*IF* IPL is any use at all (the efficacy is questionable or at best unproven), there are other companies ready to sell you posh photons - try

if you must... much easier to return goods to Amazon/in the UK than faff about with French consumer protection laws if you happen to discover the results are not what the ads suggest...

Hi yes I have exactly the same problem, I have the machine but need to buy a new cartridge and gels and have contacted by email with an enquiry as I was unable to buy Accessories form their website E-swin UK Ltd. I then received an email from the French company informing me that they are no longer connected to E-swin UK Ltd and that E-swin UK is no longer a subsidiary of ESWIN SAS as of 1 Jan 2012 and that E-swin UK is consequently an independent company managed and administered by. This company has signed a distributor contract for our products (E One and EO75) and as long a sthese contracts remain in force, they cannot interfere in the management of ESWIN - UK. They regret this is the situation and will keep me updated as matters evolve.

Obviously after spending £1399 didn't expect this to happen. Meanwhile I have seen E-one France Facebook page and their E-one page are customers are still posting questions and receiving answers from E-one so they are still in business so i have contacted them via their contact page asking whether it is possible to buy cartridges and gels from them directly as they made the machines and supplied E-swin UK Ltd so I would just be purchasing them from them instead of the UK company, who no doubt would also order them from E-one France. I am not sure if they speak English so also translated to the best of my ability, hope they understand. So just have to wait and see what they say, but I can't understand why not as I would just be paying them the same as if I lived in France and need to buy new accessories and if need be on my machine I could change the language to french to enter the codes that come with the cartridges. Anyway when I hear from them, touch wood, will post again.

    Regards

    Kayla

    Hi
Have you had any luck contacting the french company for a replacement cartridge?

Delighted to say that you are now able to order accessories from E-SWIN FRANCE. As long as you have your log in details for your online E-One account you can log into your account of E-Swin and order optical cartridges etc. If you have a problem with your log in details you can always contact E-Swin and ask them reinstate your account online. Pleased isn't the word.

I dont trust Eswin as far as i could throw them when the london office closed i lost out on a cartridge that i ordered and Eswin in France would not honour my order but eventually i got my money back from the bank. Since then ive ordered another cartridge and i received it within a week. Now my machine has developed a fault and ultimately needs to be seen to. after weeks of phonecalls and emails eswin have told me to return the machine to France. to be honest im scared to send my machine back to them in case they never return it , they cant even return a phonecall! they have insisted that i have to pay for the courier and they will not refund postage. We are talking around £90 to send this machine back with tracking but at this cost there is only £100 insurance on the value of the item. i didnt dare ask how much it would be to insure it at the actual cost of the machine. now when i bought the machine i bought it from london i was tod at that time that any issues that occured with my machine it would have to be returned to london i was and am prepared to pay the postage to return my machine for repair inland but not european the prices are stupid and i checked parcel force, DHL and UPS . i bought a five year guarantee for peace of mind i feel that eswin have moved to goal posts by asking to return the machine to france rather that london as was stated when the machine and extended warrantly ws bought. what do i do people? send it back and hope for the best? or keep a machine that is currently out of order?
also how will eswin send the machine back to me tracked courier or bog standard post ? ive heard some horror stories of people sending machines and never seeing them again or they are returned with the same fault and have to be send back to eswin and they have incurred further courier costs. Do you trust eswin? will they open a uk office to look after the uk customers? should i risk sending the machine back? let me know what you think.
if anyone has a contact email or number for someone in eswin that is 1. helpful and 2. speak english let me know?

peace of mind ? i think not!

thanks to anyone who can help its much appreciated

if you paid with plastic then forget about sending it back to France and make a S75 claim against your card issuer
  • I bought an E-One in 2010 from the London showroom.
I did have issues to purchase new cartridges about 8 months ago, but now the situation seems to have changed.
Apparently the previous E-Swin distributor has changed.
I am very happy with their services now.
I have done 10 treatments with my E-One and have almost no hair on my back and chest anymore. I have 1 or 2 stubborn hair left that I need to zap, that's about it. Very happy with my purchase, I save lots of money. The salon wanted to charge me £3,000 for 8 sessions, just for my back... so I guess I saved a lot of money with the my E-One, plus my partner is using the machine for about 6 months now, so I definitely recommend it.
If my machine were to break, I wouldn't mind sending it back to France. After all, it is only a few hours away from here...

always nice to welcome new users who feel moved to register & post to defend a product/company that's being criticised
