I wouldn't have thought so, and anyway what are they going to do to you if you don't go and should have. If you are signing off to become a carer they can't sanction your JSA can they ;)

Out of politeness I would probably phone the WP and tell them you won't be coming in as you have signed off and are now a carer.

called the work programme provider i have to still go in as it will only change until they get a change of circumstances, how long does that take or is it worth me just going and doing it today

Not sure what you mean by change of circumstances, is it a form or something that you have to fill in. Surely if you took your letter in showing that you are now receiving (or will be) carers allowance then that should be enough for them.

when i called i explained that to them i was signing off on the day of the appointment, i have to still go because they have to get notice from the job centre that i am no longer getting jsa, i dont know if they are telling me lies or not

Well as I said earlier what are they going to do to you if you don't go ;)

I am no expert but if I were in your position I would take my letter in, show it to them and say goodbye. They probably want you to go in so they can get you to sign something to say they have helped you get a job or something like that. (yes I know I'm cynical but after something that happened to me today I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them)
