So are you going to take that 64Gb memory card, format it into FAT32 then stick it into the Clip+ with its woeful battery life and cramped screen, then say it's still better than an iPod Nano for £50? Would that even work with RB?

    Wrong thread.

    Hi there.

It seems ironic that I was the person that found this and I haven't had mine!

Was due for delivery today and it's not arrived!

Been on the phone to them and they told me to phone back tomorrow morning to see if it's out for delivery. They told me it was a delay at the depot or something. :(

I got mine this morning - thanks for the OP but I saw it on Hot UK Deals, too.

It's green, but so is my shuffle :)

Ahhh wish I'd seen this sooner! I'm actually in need of a new mp3 player and was thinking about getting an ipod but refuse to pay over 50 quid.. This would have been ideal, but ah well. Thanks for posting OP and well done to those who managed to get one. :D

I do need my 68GB and better sound.

I'd love stepping up from 15 to a 24 hours battery but capacity and sound get my priority.

I doubt I need more than 64GB anytime soon so 128GB cards should be ten a penny by the time it does happen.

What iems are you using - they make the most difference?

I've got ie8s I like and have had for 2 plus years now.. I've also tried out a number of different players. Cowons I liked because their BBE enhancements probably can't be beaten in most mp3 players - but the players themselves, their UIs just sucked.

Sansas with Rockbox - already mentioned - pretty good.. I had the Sony X for a while but couldn't quite get its fans saying it was the best.

And I've had various Apples for a while and they sound as good as anything else, certainly flat. With the iPod Touch, and I guess the iPhone you can just download what you want in terms of EQ - I have SonicMaxPro which is just a BBE licensed app, but sounds as good as any of the Cowons I've tried out.

I also have Sony EX1000s but still prefer the ie8s. Soundwise any player is pretty much like any other, just the EQ options vary.

Hi I just wanted to thank the originanal poster. I managed to pick one up today. It will really make my nieces day,in August. Her last one(non -Ipod) was stolen by some scumbag-that broke into her home. So this will be hugely appreciated by her. Thankyou

Yay! I have got mine. It arrived just before 12, got it on charge at the moment.

I'm glad it arrived today and they didn't try to deliver Monday, as I'll be at work!
