    "The Clip+ is discontinued anyway."
A bit like the 'cheap chipset' Nano and Shuffles then!

Away from nonsense this is their range.

There will still be Clip+s to be found on the net, but the Zip is the replacement.

Good player, the Zip, but I prefer Apple and scarcely use my Zip - even with Rockbox on it.

One DAC is much like another - all decent players sound the same. Good iems will confirm this.

Check the link. They are making millions still. Its the basic one of their range. With no cover art.

You could buy one online, I guess, but why bother when it's the 2009 model and the Zip supercedes it?

I had a Clip, a Clip+ and now a Zip and I actually wouldn't bother with Sansa again. Fairly average unless you Rockbox them. But good for the money.

People here buy. A very useful website too.
It's worth noting that the DAC on the iPod classic is actually better.

I think it's true that iPods didn't sound good - compared with a lot of other players - up until around 2007... Since then any player from a decent brand ie. Cowon, Samsung, Sansa, Sony or Apple - and a few others - will sound the same.

Then it's what iems you use - given decently encoded files - that will make the difference.

Apple are in no way inferior to Sansa. Arguably, a Rockboxed Sansa will offer way better EQ options and enhancements than the stock Apple (or the stock Sansa) equalisers.

Flat, they all sound more or less the same, and there'd be something wrong with them if they didn't.

    Got mine delivered today!!

I don't know why anyone would want any other mp3 player. iPod's are by far the best.

    I got mine today, also.

Already I have a shuffle and a 64Gb Touch, but this is perfect for my fitness workouts, plus it has a decent radio, too.

I want a 64GB memory card for mine but will wait for prices to fall further first.

    Hi there.

It seems ironic that I was the person that found this and I haven't had mine!

Was due for delivery today and it's not arrived!

Been on the phone to them and they told me to phone back tomorrow morning to see if it's out for delivery. They told me it was a delay at the depot or something. :(
