I use this all the time, it is a great app and does exactly what you are looking for. You select all your fav tv shows, these all get added to your "To Do" list and you tick off the episodes as you watch them, and continues to display unwatched episodes. It also displays a schedule for the next few weeks of all the upcoming episodes of your fav shows. It uses data from IMDB, you may be able to find an online version on their site if you dont have an android phone or tablet.

A free program you can download is TV Browser - www.tvbrowser.org - you can set program/series as Favorites which will highlight in the guide and give reminder before the program starts.

It is not as good as DigiGuide but it's free to try and use.
