i've just come to the end of my 18mth contract with orange & am probably switching over to T-Mobile. i'm only a light user but still prefer to go contract instead of PAYG.
none of the current orange plans suit me but i'm very tempted by flext 20/18mth BUT i don't really like any of the current phones! picky female that i am!!
is there a set time each year when new phones are made available? or perhaps a certain amount of time after a model has been released?? or, even easier, is there any way of finding out what phones will be coming up on T-Mobile?
whilst i'm asking my 1000 & 1 questions , i've got my PAC from orange, letter dated 8.2.07 with 30 days to use it. if i don't use it, they say my account will remain active & just be billed as normal. as my old plan is no longer in existence, will they re-bill me on a new plan or just carry on with the old one? also, if i don't use the PAC this time, will i be able to request it again say in a couple of months time or is it just one PAC you're allowed?
so many questions, so little time...:rotfl: thanks for any replies

the pac automaticly cancels your account and ports your number over, if you wait over 30 days then call them up and get a new one. i cant speak for certain but most places will keep you on the same plan even if it expires un less they are activly trying to remove users from it.
as to phones well its all about peronaly preference i have a £500 works phone and a £20 nokia and i vastly prefer the nokia as it may be black and white but its got 12 days battery life with buttons that respond instantly and does everything i want.
frankly i get the impression you want something a bit more high end though, personaly i theink the lg shine is about the only semi interesting phone on the horizon, though the sonyericsons do have nice cameras and as far as im awair can take 8gig storage card making them good mp3 players as well0 -
thanks epz i think i'll end up not using this PAC within the 30 days so that info is useful.
i'm not really after an all singing, all dancing mobi, just a nice slim flip or slider. not fussed about mp3 but a decent camera would be nice. i have got my eye on the Shine, but i can't find a suitable tariff to match with it!
my sammy D500 has served me well, it has a few quirks but they were quickly got used to after all previous nokias. there are some lovely Ultra sammys due in March, just depends how long they take to filter thru.
the search continues, but i aint half learning a lot in the process!0
