Hope you're ok this morning :).

I'm making your chick pea cakes later. Mr GG not happy as he says he doesn't like chick peas. Then said they were green. Then said they were white. Don't think he has a clue ;). (about oh so many things :rotfl:).

Thanks Gallygirl, my mum made them the other week for my dad who 'hates chickpeas' and constantly says my veggie food is 'lovely, but it would be even nicer with just a bit of chicken in it' :) But on this occasion he loved them:)

Had my letter through this morning from the doctors, and it says

' Under NHS Constitution, you have the right to start non-emergency, consultantled treatment within 18 weeks from referral - or where cancer is suspected, to be seen by a specialist within 2 weeks of urgent referral'

This means the doctor suspects cancer doesn't it? Why else would i have an appointment so quick?

I need to get myself together, got baby to think about, got to be strong and stop being a wuss! If i start moping feel free to give me a good old kick up the proverbial:)

All breast lumps go automatically under the '2 week wait' referral system ecoelle, even if we think they're completely innocent - please don't panic about that :o It's just a way of making sure the minority that aren't so innocent are caught and treated quickly. And minimises the amount of time you have to spend at home worrying too which is an added bonus.

    Thanks KolaKube:)

Little one is sleeping, i have got the life insurance and critical illness docs out to have a quick flick through, how morbid...going to eat some lovely dark choccy while i do it:)

Just want to check if it is bad news that we will be covered if i need to take time off work, and also that if the very worst happens that baby and hubby will be ok:)

On another note, looks from the press like the company hubby works for could be in big trouble, so also checking that our redundancy cover is in place, we've been here before so not too worried, hubby and i used to work for choices video i left before but hubby was still there when they went bust...

...wonder what the 3rd thing will be? Let's hope that it's something small:)

Wow, i inspired you! That's lovely, thank you. Deffo baby steps as our income is not big enough to be able to anything else. We just try to make extra money, and use that for overpayments, or use money we weren't expecting, like tax refunds and things like that. Good luck to you on your journey:)

Adding on from everyone else's posts ecoelle ((hugs)) and you did exactly the right thing by going to the doctor immediately. Of course you will be feeling worried, this is completely understandable, however you have taken the sensible and responsible approach X

PS. Couldn't agree more with pavlovs_dog - you ARE an inspiration:happyhear

Hiya Guys, well things are ok here. Trying to get on with normal stuff and not worry too much.

    So...

Finding the make £10 a day thing hard to keep track off, think i might just update my totals every week instead of daily, it's just too much, so as it's the 6th today

Actual money £10.15 from halifax rewards accounts and topcashback
    One Poll £4.90
    Valued Opinions £6.70
Ipsos 35 (which is about £0.25)
    Crowdology £3.20
Ebay £0.00 (some items ending in 1 day though:))
Vouchers £20.00 1x Marks and Spencer and 1x Capital bonds
    Consumer Pulse 7000 (worth £7.00)
    Total £52.20 = £6.52 per day :)
