Saving Money with Ipad or Tablet

I am thinking of getting an IPad and wonder if this could save me money.
At present I have internet & home phone(£19 per month) and mobile phone (£20 per month) both with Orange.
If I do get an Ipad and give my Grandson my Computer, will I be able to cancel the internet and home phone contract and use the Ipad on my Mobile phone contract to surf the web--- saving £19 per month?
Can anyone answer this please
