Hopefully that is the right link as the route 20/22A services Harley Shute Road :) and goes into Hastings town centre, although it may change as apparently the bus routes change beginning of April, and they get released on 22 March (was talking to a bus driver earlier)

You can't walk from the train station, although if coming by train you can purchase a ticket in advance.
From memory it's called Plus bus ticket, we brought ours online with the train ticket. It worked out slightly cheaper for us to buy the bus passes for travel to and from the camp than to purchase tickets on the day. We did get a small discount on the bus passes as we brought them and out train tickets wth a family rail card.

When at the site, if you go out the bottom exit, there's another bus stop there to get back into town, saved us an exhausting walk back to the top of the site with the cases. ( the site is on HUGE hill) Our Plus bus tickets were allowed on this other bus route... think it might've been the 99 coastal route, wave rider or something similar.

So do check if you can get the plus bus, I emailed stage coach and asked what our fares would be so I could compare to the plus bus tickets

I have no idea about your question, but I have just 'bumped' an older post which is still valid up up until the end of the month ~(not sure if its 30/31st march)

If you use the link I posted in the other thread you save an extra 20% off, its been used today no problem.:)

Blimey. Is it still going? I had a 2nd job there 40 years ago :D
You get off the bus from Hastings (going towards Bexhill) at Harley Shute Road, cross over the main Bexhill Road, walk up Harley Shute Road & the entrance is on the left....... well, it was :D

the bus stops right outside, you cant miss it as there are a lot of flags etc showing it's haven site.

The bus goes past asda, down long long road, turns right, goes along and then turns right again. The site is on the left just round the second corner. Sorry dont know the names of the roads LOL

We asked the driver to let us know, but tbh you'd have trouble missing it.

This is on the bus to Harley Shute.

It's the one where it stopped at Harley Shute road, it's not in Ore :) It was near the top of that bus timetable.

Am sure it was you who helped me organise my holiday last Easter to Hastings and in the summer to Camber. So just wanted to say thank you personally. :T
  • Nice to see Combe haven is still going. If you've got kids I'd recommend a trip to the crazy golf as it's one of the biggest in the UK. If the weather turns into a shocker try a visit to the hastings aquarium which will keep them amused for a few hours.

As you're probably aware the beach in hastings is pebbles but you can take the bus to Camber Sands if you're looking for some sand and see relaxation.

    Enjoy

Thank you :o That made my day :o

Just checked, it doesn't seem the timetable has changed too much (apparently it was changing, but it seems similar to what it was, thankfully)
