Duh my clients don't know a random number duh!

Are the people who reply on here so stupid!!!

Some, but we tend not ask questions as statements and most of us know that 100 minutes is equal to 1 hour and 40 minutes not 1 hours and 20 minutes.

Look, you paid cheap and got cheap. If you said to them when you signed up you were a business user they would have offered you a different deal. Giff gaff is genererally for retail customers and not trade. If you want benefits of having an account manager etc you have to pay more for it, you didnt want to do this so got the basic package (one which you didnt read the t's & c's) and then had to change it. Lets not forget it was your initial error that led to all this.

For future reference if you are business user i would suggest a business contract, if its too expensive for you expect a substandard product.

I would speak to them about not cancelling the package you wanted to change and show proof of you wanting to cancel and change.

Don't get me wrong GiffGaff is still a cheap service provider if you can put up with them....Which you can't say No more.

I have some sympathy for the situation you find yourself in because GiffGaff can be very slow in responding to issues, however, they make it very clear that tethering is not permitted with Goodybags.

By attempting to tether via your phone rather than purchase a separate dongle and data package for your laptop you created the situation which giffgaff were unable to resolve in a timely manner.

I'm sorry to say that you will have to either run with payg rates at 10p per minute until the gigabag expires in a months time or, as suggested by sparky93 above, get a pac and move on asap.

Tries to run a business on the cheapest low budget PAYG and didn't even read the terms (about tethering) before printing up the business cards... then has the cheek to call THEM a mickey mouse outfit.

    1. Simply get a PAC code and move to another provider.

    2. If you want to use the wifi tethering and want to do it on the cheap I would buy a android phone as they have less restrictions imposed on the networks (Im an iphone user)

    3. IF you dont want to move try jail-braking your iphone and use the tethering with your current alloawnce.

    4. IF your running a business and cant afford these then your business needs more revenue.

    5. I use a free 070 mobile number provided by YAC which allows me to have one number for years then I just divert to mobile/email regardless of what my actual mobile contract/number is.
    (others provide this service)

I think your best option is to get a PAC code ( as your not on any contract) and move your number to another service. IF your after lots on mins 3 seem to do a good deal or look at Tescos £10/£15 a month deals.
