That's the one we stayed at, The Royal Scot. We didn't find it noisy at all though.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Can recommend this deal - coupled it with the free DFDS seaways cruise (from this site) last week. No problems, spotless room, will defo book again. The Travelodge that we stayed in was virtually empty.

    Hi,

Could somebody please help--For a £15 per night, do you get a double or twin room? Can we ask for a family room? Sorry I can't find out a clue for this from Travelodge website?

Thanks very much for your answer,

If you manage to find a £15 a night room,it will tell you what the room is and also offer alternative,if there is one.

IT depends upon each hotel. Most if not all of the modern build Travelodges have all sorts of rooms for 2, 3 or 4 persons. However, availablity of £15 rooms varies but most of the time there are family rooms available - each type is listed under each hotel for each night. For the first time ever, on a night I need, there wer only 2 or 3 bedded rooms available.

People are so slow...When I first looked at this last night there were nights available in the places that were perfect. People have been f*NNying about and now all the decent ones are gone!

  • Meh, whenever i look at these there are never any rooms where i would like to visit. Do they get snapped up real quick or something?

We have had 2 £15 travel lodge stays so far

1 in April and 1 Saturday just gone :)

Both have been fine,my husband called the day before to make sure there was a room available and to confirm the booking etc

The one on saturday, when we checked in the receptionist said we had booked a smoking room, when we hadnt ! but she moved us so all was well :)

They are a bargain @ £15,yes basic but clean,if only using to shower / sleep they are fine :)

we bring our own iron / hairdryer ,it does say they are available on a first come first served basis from reception though, should you need one

we wanted an ironing board on sat and they didnt have one :( so pressed some clothes on a towel on the floor lol

My 5 yr old thinks its great fun sleeping "on the floor" on the pull out bed underneath the sofa bed :rotfl:

Got 3 more booked 1 in July and 1 in August 1 in Sept so fingers crossed they are as good as the previous 2 have been :)
  • Have to say that I am a huge Travelodge fan, and think the rooms are comfortable and clean, ideal as a base to explore an area. The one in Long Sutton, near Kings Lynn is highly recommended as the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the area is brilliant for cycling and walking - close enough to Hunstanton, and the wonderful Norfolk countryside and beaches. I hope that Travelodge do another similar £15 deal for a huge amount of rooms soon!!!
