    Its not just until April.

We booked this morning, one for a night in July nearish to Dover, before we travel to France.

And one for August ,for a day out @ Legoland :)

Its a fab idea if you fancy a day trip ( paid for with tesco vouchers ,so its "free" ;) ) but its too far to travel in one day.

£15 per night for a family of 4 bargain!

oops ........ just booked another lol staying in Tamworth and having a day out at Drayton Manor with a group of friends :)
  • you absolute star, just booked.Delighted, a room for £15 near legoland. WORD OF CAUTION - remember the watchdog programme about travelodge overbooking the rooms. Apparently to definitely get the room you should phone early in the day you are booked to stay and tell them you will be coming at X time and to definitely hold the room for you. Then there should be no problem.

  surely if you have the proof ( booking confirmation print out), they will HAVE to put you up  even if its at another location ?
  • nope, hang on I will try and get you the link.
  • don't worry, after the programme I sent customer service a letter concerned about my £15 bookings they sent me a letter reassuring me but suggesting I call the hotel as I explained the relevant morning. I did and there was absolutely no problem.

    Thank you for that.
I am supposed to be going to a conference in London and was worried that I couldn't afford somewhere to stay.
This will do just the job!

We stayed in London a couple of weeks ago, the Kings Cross t/lodge. Have to say, I was a little worried what I would actually end up with for my £15 ! It was Valentines night, so I was also worried about the above mentioned overbooking (although I'm sure a lot or couples may be staying somewhere a little more upmarket than a Travelodge on Valentines night! lol ) But I can honestly say we were really impressed! Spotless room, bedding, bathroom etc. The staff were really helpful & informative. Best £15 we've spent in ages! (well, if you don't include the takeaway we had last night ! lol ) I wouldn't hesitate to book again, if I needed a hotel somewhere.
:D I am in the future you know...
...9 hours ahead to be exact !:D

I stayed at the Kings X one at Christmas and our room overlooked a rail or tube line. Very noisy. I would recommend the Kings X royal scot or Farringdon - both within 1/4 mile.Euston is now open, but looks like thay will be noisy. Covent Garden is our favourite as it`s only 5 mins from Oxford St.
