Hello fellow challengers!
Well I just made it last week - had said £20, and came in at £19.50. I had to buy a replacement pair of gardening gloves which cost £10, butI decided to get a decent pair that would last.
This week I will be spending lots as it is payday, but it will be from my other budgets. As far as this challenge goes I should be able to keep it fairly low, so am setting myself a £15 budget.
Good luck everyone

moozie I can't possibly imagine why there is a laughing smilie beside my name...I made a budget of £20 and I stuck to it religiously....until the monday :rotfl: ooops! right financially screwed for the next five weeks (stupid five week month!) but it's all in a good cause, paid off one of my credit cards and £500 of my od today so :j just means I'm a [STRIKE]lot[/STRIKE] little screwed, so please feel free to be very strict with me (cue minnie with a dominatrix cow pic
)
right this is my breakdown for next week and I'm gonna put 100% into sticking to it!
£30 for spending at my granda's 80th on friday
£20 to allow for train home if needed (if not i'll be at mums for her bday which means dinner out)
£10 food shopping for the week (should be easy as just fresh bits needed)
£10 in my purse for all other spends... will need hair dye and face wash at some point
and maybe £25 for a bag from warehouse for friday night, I have nothing to take with me :eek:
the good news is I won't need birthday pressies for my mum or my granda, he said he didn't want any and mum won't mind cause I'm skint!
so we're looking at either £70 or £95 this week :eek:0 -
OK, I'm in if that's OK. I have £7 in purse. So I'll budget that and try not to go to the cash machine at all! This is my 5th NSD in a row so if I keep it up there should be no problems... I hope.
Edit: Dang just realised I lied .. I bought two stamps yesterday so not an NSD. Amazing how you forget these little things. And I yes, I had written it down in my spending diary :rotfl:Pennies make pounds.

I've spent £2.85 today:
- £2.10 on a lovely large latte from Caffe Nero
- 75p on a big bottle of water

Hi, I ended up going over my budget yesterday. I had to get a few bits sorted in my car, so I've ended up spending £42.00 this week. I'll budget £30 for next week, that should be OK.0
