How much have/will you spend today Sunday 25/2 and the new Sun to Fri challenge!

Good morning lovely DFWs :)

Hope you are having a great weekend! I've been having a blast :D Had a fab day out with friends yesterday, ate lots of nice food and drunk lots of nice wine  Off to the flicks later today but we have free tickets so I will only be spending money on sweeties from the corner shop ;)

Have just had home made bread for breakie and as I am ready to face the world, I thought I'd see how we are doing with the challenge!

So, let's have some updates from last week then and new budgets please! Here's the list:

Clearly I need to look more carefully at my weekly budget and spending as I have not done well in two weeks running :( I will budget £30 for this week and see how we go!

Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.

The reason the challenge is up to Friday is that I like to give myself a day off the counting and let my hair down a bit

Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

Well I actually managed to throw away my spending list! I know up to thursday we were on £21 and DH normally spends about £5 a day so at a rough guesstimate I'm going to say £26.
Same target for next week :D

  • morning everyone - i have spent £34.71 (!! - that odd 71p makes all the difference!) and had set £40 with a hope of £35 - and this was with having lunch with my sis - she was feeling bit fed up so we got a supermarket take away and i made cake!

this week i have to pay £5 towards a gift and £5 for some cards but not much else going on so am still setting a budget of £15 hmmm thinking might be unrealistic so will def say £20!

I think I will set a budget of £50 this week.

Don't intend on buying anything today so hopefully nothing will crop up.

I'm budgeting for £10.00 if you don't mind me joining in.

Does this exclude your shopping bill?
