What about the people with two legs that are perfectly normal in operation but have a heart condition and back problems?
I HAVE a back problem that prevents my walking. No expert on hearts, friend has had a heart & lung transplant twice, father-out-law has had angina and been on tablets fourteen years. Funny. How both work fulltime jobs. A bit like the child of a friend who aspergers has cleared enough to now drive, but was caught in a pickle when someone said hold on, your mother has claimed HRC & HRM due to your ability to be left at home and failure of spatial awareness, now your fine to drive? Goodbye DLA. Shame they got caught out when he wanted his own new car every three years.
If I had a £1 for every bad back I hear about but can perfectly walk and stand for a few hours.....................

I never bothered getting my blue badge because in my head I'm going to wake up one morning and be walking fine! Because I can't drive and don't have people on hand to drive me about then I don't see the point. Shame it costs so much though, I never realised I could be charged £20 for a badge.0

Can you tell me the program to print off passport photos please? thanksInvalidation wrote: »Just got my new BB from Hampshire CC. Cost me £2 to renew. I did the photo with my phone then simply printed 2 copies off using a free web programme for passport photos. They took 2 weeks to process it.0 -

I think you posted in the wrong thread. You should have posted in one of the many blue badge fraud threads scattered around the forum.Brassedoff wrote: »I HAVE a back problem that prevents my walking. I was talking about myself in my comment not a friend or father-out-law.
I had a pacemaker fitted a couple of weeks ago and I am waiting for a transplant (Dilated cardiomyopathy). Maybe after a transplant I will not need my blue badge.
I also have back pain and can not stand for hours or walk very far (before I had the heart problem).
How do I send you the £1 do you have Paypal?

Good luck with the transplant, I had mine in October 2011 and never got out of hospital until January! I had a few complications on the way but I'm really happy that I did it. I'm not back to myself yet but I can get through a day without collapsing now so it's all good.0
