Unless she chose to put him up for adoption for some reason, protection from the boyfriend/his father for example? I didn't think a child could be put up for adoption without the parent's consent, only that they could be taken into care.

Hi I am just catching up and have read about this awful situation, just wanted to say it does seem to happen over what is no fault of the mother. I know of someone who was in a similar situation, the mum was in a bad relationship and the boyfriend ended up in prison for abuse of the her. No physical abuse of the child by either of them. Social services have taken the child from the mum, it was in foster care for 12 months and now the grandparents are the foster carers and the mum can only see her child under supervision. The grandparents are hoping to be able to adopt as even though the father is not around Social services have concerns about the child returning to the mum. so sad but very difficult circumstances, I would not like to be in a job where I have to make these sort of decisions.

its the facebook ssm! i just got lots of stickers 41 i think and it included 7 then i switched my router off and logged in as my partner to start again altho not doin as well on his as not had the time! but i will do it at sum point hth

Hi not sure if anyone has said already but if you are not in a hurry to get them it may be worth waiting until later in the year, last year in November they increased the CC value to x4 for Goldsmiths. So you would get more for your [STRIKE]money[/STRIKE]points:T:T:T

Lovely isn't it? One of the friends who's ignoring me drops her baby in a couple of months and once she's stuck at home again you can bet she'll be on the blower to me every other day asking me to come over, I won't though, she can whistle!

Cheers for that, no I'm in no rush but some of my vouchers run out before then so I'll have to check the dates and work out if it'd be worth waiting, thanks though!
