Woohoo! It's a genuine win for the elite.
Just got to call Clubcard in the morning to have the points added.
She's on a roll tonight; she just got a confirmation email telling her she passed her college course with a distinction (>92%). :T
She said to me, " Must be fake, I never entered my details into any Tesco Favourites Competition!" I replied, "No, you didn't, but I did!"
Many thanks to all the OP's who kept reminding us to enter. I love this place, I really do.
OB

Elite 11+ fundraising total for Make-a-Wish £682 :j:A0 -
One for tomorrow:
Right. I've just had a quick look at tomorrows offers.
This is a good un (if my maths is correct...)
Tomorrow the above muller pack is £3.59 in Tescos but is £3.28 for 2 in Asda.
So,
Buy 6
Tesco 6x £3.59 = £21.54 (but would only be 3x£3.28 =£9.84 in Asda)
Use 7 price flop vouchers (7x £3 = £21)
So far, £21.54 - £7 = £14.54
But remember, you will also generate a JTD of £11.70!!!
This makes your total cost of £14.54 - £11.70 = £2.84!
This makes each pack of 6 mullers = 47p:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I'm watching Return to the Falklands with Simon Weston, a survivor of the Sir Galahad and the 42 Welsh Guardsmen that perished...very moving..
we watched the mess up that was Operation Tiger in which over 1000 US military personel lost their lives in a practice run for the Normandy landings at Slapton Sands / Lyme Bay .
Sad stuff .I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Congratulations on your win OB:T:T:TOn the subject of kitchens our main oven is not getting warm
Cottage pie had to be microwaved as cheese hadn't melted.
Not being technical (either of us) could it be the Thermostat or an element?
Oven came with the kitchen & builder has disappeared long ago.at least the top oven still works
Sounds like it could be the element Snap, same thing happened to mine day before xmas eve, a local tradesman replaced in in 15 mins for £45. Fan and light were still working, just no heat. Hope you get sorted xx:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -

Gorgeous pictures FK - must dust off my DSLR now the weather's getting better & get out there. Am so lazy. Am hoping this is the year I learn to take it off automatic
We shall see
Well done Old Bear on that win - am quite envious! Enjoy them - am sure you will
All this talk about Goldsmiths, we bought DH a Rolex for his 40th last year with a little help from T's - not that much as he only decided last minute that he did want one after all (love that he waited until I'd booked the weekend away before changing his mind lol) but we did manage to grab the 4x before it went down to 3x and it certainly helped. Couldn't quite believe the price increases though - got mine in 2000 for under £2k. His was £4.3k!!! Hadn't realised what an investment I'd bought!!
So, I put my big girls panties on and with my BFF in hand (am such a chicken!!) I took the bread mixes back to t's (all 7 I didn't get to use my discount vouchers on) and the SA could not have been nicer - guess I may just have to start shopping during the day rather than the evening - much nicer staff on :rotfl::rotfl:
I also phoned HO to tell them about it. The more I thought about it, the more I couldn't quite believe what had happened yesterday. I was made to feel like a criminal for trying to use vouchers, for goodness sake!! And infront of the other customers who were patiently waiting to be served. It was embarassing and I was starting to have mild panic attacks about going back to shop again (I'm such a wimp!!). So I called to confirm that I could use vouchers, and as many as I wanted, not what the Supervisor had said to me. HO were very nice and confirmed that yes the vouchers could be used and that the T member of staff could call them at any time if they were not sure. I feel a little better about it all now.
Sorry - rant over!0 -
