It is quite difficult to get the vouchers now and I think the goodie bags are gone altogether. I got a £15 voucher for doing 10 things on my to do list but my husband did it after me and only got a £1 coupon

Thanks even £1.00 vouchers are good too. I dont mind if I missed the big vouchers and goody bags. Ta

    Damn and blast.

I have just broken a tooth on a 1p candy cane! 1/4 of a lower molar is completely gone!

Anyone know how much this is going to cost to fix?

I hope I haven't blown all the savings I have made since joining MSE

Just back from the Dentist - DH broke off 2 crowns just before we went on holiday last week. The quote was £1000 to fix as it needs 4 crowns to go across the gap and side teeth!!! Dentist said the NHS charge is around £200 per straightforward crowns without any fiddly bits so I guess its going to cost you around £200 or thereabouts - if your dentist will do NHS crowns (Mine won't - he charges £350 for a private one).

I have no idea about EMF and its health risks. Scientists still seem to be sitting on the fence too. I almost always use a headset these days anyway so hopefully this will prevent me microwaving my brain a bit at least.

    Therein lies the problem!
No-one WANTS to read about EMFs. They bury their head in the sand like an ostrich as they won't do without their phones.

What's more important? Constant use of a phone, or your kids
(I am not saying they're not handy to carry switched off in case of emergency, but you'd rarely need to switch them on.)

Non- recycling isn't anywhere NEAR comparable believe me.

Any of you reading this, please DO read about EMFs.
The more people DO actually think about them the better, as more people may start limiting use.

P.S As for the BT installation fee, Quidco always have offers on which pays out MORE than installation fees for most companies.
When i switched to talk talk from BT i also got £40 cashback for switching, which paid the £30 installation and gave me an extra £10
Plus you'd save more in a year (There is a thing you can do (my sister and nephew use it as he emigrated to 0z where you get 5 minutes for 10p to Oz, and less for nearer companies. So you WOULD save! And how often do we actually NEED as opposed to "finding it handy" a mobile phone? (as stated above)

Oh and using a headset emits EMFs! And even carrying a phone on your body or in yr hand you're being subjected to it, just not as closely!

    What is sugaring?!

Similar to waxing in that sticky stuff is pasted all over the hairy area and then ripped off with a fabric strip (brings tears to your eyes just thinking about it!). It uses a thick sugar paste instead of wax and is supposed to be slightly less uncomfortable.

It's got to be less harmful than reading your posts though surely? ;)
