Tricia...........you dont know anything about me and you should really think before you post about my personal circumstances.

So to you and all who thanked you for this post- I hope you never have to struggle the way I have.

I will leave now and wont be lurking so have fun tricia, post away, and maybe one day when you are all grown up you will understand just how great my 'need' for this thread was.

Calm - try not to let Tricia wind you up. I know everyone has the right to make posts but a few people do seem to bang on and on forever over factors that (to my mind !) are totally irrelevant to the hard facts of life. And, of course, they always want the last word so its usually beat to just skip over their comments and not reply.

If you need to be on here and find it supportive then carry on and take no notice of anyone who tries to put you down - they just aren't worth the bother.

i think its difficult at times to get across an opinion, joke etc on the internet as we rely on the words and cannot express emotion or tone. The use of smilies helps at times, but even then, words can often be taken out of context.

We've had lots of cross words and mixed messages on this thread for a long time, and quite often, there was no original harm intended.

We all use this thread for different reasons, for comfort, bargain hunting, basic necessacities, being able to survive when things are rough - and although some peoples needs may be greater than others, we all deserve to come on here, no matter our circumstances :)

We all have different ways of dealing with our problems and different ways of expressing our feelings - some may think their problems are minor in comparison with others, yet they are still problems affecting our day to day lives and no one should think that they're unable to post because their problems aren't significant :)

Hopefully Calmspirit, you will come back to the thread :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Unlike you I cant afford to donate to food banks, each bit of food I have goes to feeding my kids, I cant count the number of times I have gone without food so my kids can eat, have relied on whoopsies to ensure they eat and even been grateful for overhanging fruit trees to keep my hunger at bay while there is food on the table for my kids.

So to you and all who thanked you for this post- I hope you never have to struggle the way I have.

    Morning all :).

No snow here, but a very white sky. We shall see what the day brings!

I have some guests coming soon, so I'm going to unpack some of my lovely new Silentnight duvets that I got recently from Mr T Direct. Thanks to whoever it was who posted about them :A.

And of course Nikki, I will take great care over my duvet choices :rotfl:. Hope your sorely poorly arm is feeling better and hello to Nannylala.

Hugs to all who could do with them, wishing 3dogs and Alan a pleasant day.
    Hope is not a strategy.
