    Morning! -that snow is impressive!

I have had a frustrating thing happen- the lovely IWOOT April 1 sale (that I posted about) ... I ordered at the crack of dawn, and then put down the computer and did the family- the silly company did a couple of transactions for a penny and the card company thought it was fraud and stopped payment. By the time I got the email and corrected it - several hours later, they apparently sold out of most of the stuff I had got! (only spent £30 so wasn't much)

-that was Sunday, I rang yesterday and was told that they were waiting for more stock for some of the bits and they would be sent later... but then today have had a refund and those bits cancelled! I have sent an email explaining that it was their fault that the payment went funny...:mad::mad: Boo hoo hoo!
-only good news there is they did still take off the £5 off £30  so my remaining bits are on quite a good offer.

No bears yesterday! -DS2 happy with 3D plastic cow and pig plate/cup/bowl sets for 50p... and I too bought the paper hoping for a voucher!

But, got fantastic whoopsies last night - went right at the end and a weeks worth of good meat for under £2! (10p a pop!) :D so I guess it all evens out...:)
  • surely they are connected to the till system? or maybe it was just the odd glitch? I wouldn't worry about it too much.

This has happened to me on a few occasions where on the scanner its showed full price but on the till its gone through a lot cheaper, i never trust them now and just go straight to self serve and if its not glitched then i just make the excuse that i have changed my mind

    ;)

Funny you should say that. I got a coupon for 25p off these in the last mailing - not something I buy, but all the other coupons were for items I had bought previously. Mr K must be offering a kick-back to T for them to offer discounts.
