Sorry, cannot find the Op who posted about the Electric blankets. Checked my local (regular superstore), scanning at £6, checked the net and cheapest they're going for is £22, so thanks Op! Exactly what I needed.. Picked one up and loads left on the shelf

Here's the original post on this thread!:DNot sure if this is the right place to post as I've never used this before!
Tesco have got an offer for Silent Night electric blankets at half price. The kingsize is £50 reduced to £25. Went to get one last night from Handf0rth Dean and it scanned through at £6. Bit of a bargain!"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

We did have it done profesionally and it cost a small fortune:eek:But my DH is in the building trade so it was a bit cheaper but I had lots of cutouts in mine for stuff so their was no way he'd do it. I had it made to measure and then they did little cuts on site.Always use a chopping board too, you think it doesnt scratch but it can.Best thing I did was swapped the metal bars that people usually have inlaid as a draining board. I had them put either side of the hob so if you get something hot out of the oven you can put it straight on them because your not supposed to put anything hot on it either:eek:Washing up liquid & water will be fine to clean it, just don't bother with all the expensive stuff it's a rip off;)
I'm a Stonemason and the best thing you can use to clean granite is neat washing up liquid.0
