They reckon that lots of people have autism but are never diagnosed with it. It's good to have an Awareness Day for it because people don't understand it and lots of people who have it are bullied at school.
My lovely Nephew was diagnosed with Autism late last year, all the family knew he had social skill problems but it took almost two years to have him diagnosed correctly, he's a beautiful boy we love him dearly and his quirky little ways!:)

So true. Friends have a 7 year old Autistic son who was born when his Mum was 42 and Dad 48. He is a very loving little boy but prone to temper tantrums if his routine is changed. Simply walking him home from school on the opposite side of the road to normal will cause him to get angry and results in stares etc from other people who don't understand why he is reacting as he is. He attends mainstream school and has many friends although he has been bullied because of his autism. Children can be very cruel to others who are a little different.

On the main Grabbit page, there is a Grabbit for ELC ready mix paints from Amazon, half price (50p) with free delivery. A bargain if you have little ones.

Very well said, Gemini Jes. I don't know much about it, only what others have told me or I've read about or seen on tv.
