Went on a bearhunt today none of the little blighters in sight, However, noticed a lovely big display of Orange Fanta reduced from 1.98 to £1.00 so I bought one for a tester and it went through at £1.98 so DD2 took my shopping to the car and I toddled back and picked up 20 bottles, I got a few funny glances with my trolley loaded up (wish I had got more) Checkout Op commented and I said we were having a childrens party. Paid up went to CS got DTD back so 20 bottles of Fanta cost 40p !!! Just a quickie question I have a £5 MOC till spit if I dont want groceries costing over £40 can I buy something to make it up to the £40 and then return the item? Im still a bit of an amateur. Also Im hoping the Fanta price checks as it is only £1 in Asda Happy days!!:j

There were a lot of the cupcake stands. There was also a pretty one cup teapot and cup set for £2.50, did think of buying it for a friend in USA but was wary of how it would post. A lot of dinner sets were reduced including Denby and James Martin.

Thank-you for Treasure eggs info. Home Bargains for me tomorrow...:):)

You're welcome. They are at the entrance. They also had other eggs in boxes for £1 and a bag containing 8 treat size packs of Cadbury's mini eggs for £1.49p and small Cadbury's button eggs in a box for 49p each. I bought some for the Easter Bunny to do the egg hunt next weekend.

    Trolley Coin Keyring

The No. 1 MUM trolley coin keyrings were hanging off clipstrip in Bletch*ey yesterday. I bought one and it went through at 24p. Not sure how much they were supposed to be but may be worth watching - maybe a future 1p item.

Worth going there for a look at the homeware sale, not had long to look as husband was with me and he hates shopping so will go back alone. There were cages of saucepans ready to go on the shelves amongst other things. The knife block draw that has been scanning cheap in other stores scanned at £49

I was thinking of popping down tomorrow too, will there be a fight over the wombles if we are all there at the same time?

Reading your post you could have used a £5 off for your DTD fanta and been paid £4.60 to take them away!:D
