No news on Thorntons, no cancellation call or e mail. Didn't go for next day delivery so due between Wed and Fri. Don't think I will receive them though. On to the next glitch.

Hi Guys,

Not related to T and just thought of letting you know as I saw that some were interested in an update of Thornton's.

I also placed an order on Friday and since I do not use a mobile, put my OH's number when placing the order. Got the order confirmation with the reduced amount.

Then my OH calls me saying 'someone called saying that the price was wrong and have asked for the card details to refund the money'. So, he has asked her to call back in 10 minutes since he had to ask me 1st and also to get my card details'. They have never called back and later in the evening I got an 'order dispatch' email and it stated the correct amount without any discount. When I checked my bank account online, they have taken the reduced amount only.

And today when I checked the Hermes track order, it had been dispatched and the latest update said 'signature from neighbour'. So, it seems I seem to have got this (am surprised since I always miss out most of the glitches).

But will not open them and would wait a few more days keeping an eye on the cc account.

I will take your advice, carry on as usual and see what I hear back from the company I applied to. If successful then go in and out of the blue say here's my notice goodbye. Will shock them

Also would like to publicly thank 'Fudge2' for being so kind to a total stranger like me (a part time lurker too). I collected one egg, and would collect the other 2 this week.
