On a 'badness' post a friend said her last Goodbye to her Grandson today as Social Services have taken him off to be adopted:(:(
Her daughter was a good Mum but her BF was a A$$ & she rang SS to help her whilst she threw him out of her life.
Unfortunately she never got her son back, she visited him everyday (a 50 all round mile bus journey) at his foster parents, court case went on for a year & she lost him:( why? she's had terrible things happen to her in her past but has overcome them - surely that cannot be the reason? She was a victim
:(
Absolutely gutted for them ♥
That is so sadYour poor friend and her daughter must be devastated

OMG that's awful! But there MUST have been other stuff in the mix, there absolutely must have been, I'd hate to believe a child would be taken away so completely from his mother without reason.
Unless she chose to put him up for adoption for some reason, protection from the boyfriend/his father for example? I didn't think a child could be put up for adoption without the parent's consent, only that they could be taken into care.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

*goes to join SA and 4P for dinner* I'm not fussy, cheese or no cheese
That is an awful shame about your friends GS. He can hopefully now go on to have a settled life. Can your friend talk to SS about keeping in touch with him so that he still has some consistency in his life?
Family courts are awful places, sometimes the judges can be a bit too biased and only see one point of view instead of looking at the bigger picture. :mad:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
