I thought Englebert Hunperdink (sic) was our Eurovision entry this year!!!!
Still don't know why we bother, it is so not about the music, and the Eastern bloc will make sure one of theirs wins anyway! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

stalk them & hope they panic & give in

Oh dear what a traumatic afternoonwith Lala.It was time to change her dressing for the first time. Was a bit nervous about doing this so carefully took off all the bandages andstarted to take off the dressing and realised it was somehow connected to a great long stitch. Lala let out a great shout and this really frightened me as when I looked down I realised why.THe scar was wide open and bleeding and I was trying so hard not to panic:eek: Lala.Straight up to accident an emergency who could not believe that I hd been told to dress it.The internal stitches are fine but she has had to have it all redone on the outside:(what an angel of a nurse she really put my mind at rest an said do not attempt to do it again and go and see the nursing practitioner for it to be done.Bless her she was so traumatised that when we got her home she fell asleep for a couple of hours.
3Dogs Lala has told me about you both and you seem to be coping so well.It amazes me where we get our courage from at times like this.I was in the same situation with my DH and the Macmillan nurses were my saviour they not only gave so much care an comfort to my DH but also to me and the family.Make sure you take care of yourself and just take each day as it comes.x
Off to dish up Mr Lalas bbq, looking forward to this but will have to eat it indoors as so cold today. Lala is not very impressed at me having to cut up her dinner every day:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:eek::eek::eek:
Give Lala our love.
Hope that you enjoyed Mr Lalas bbq.

Afternoon all, just got my cancellation call from Thorntons. They're sending me a free box of chocolates instead. I must admit to a twinge of guilt, I never thought I'd get my order anyway. Still I'm sure I'll get over it."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

1st yr anniversary is always the worst but hope you and ds are doing something nice today:)
have you had word of when you can move into your new home yet?
Thanks for all the hugs and thoughts, it still feels like a very bad dream even though I know it's been a year
Just back from graveyard, not doing anything special/nice today as everyone's off work and just want it to be me and DS so we're planning on doing some of DHs fav things tomorrow when it'll be just the 2 of us.
We managed to get the builder in the house on Thursday and Friday so both of us and my mum have seen it and it's gonna be in great condition as they've had to replace the kitchen, radiators and some flooring  He says that it should be finished by Tuesday (most is done, just a few skirting boards to be put on and then cleaning up left) but then it has to be signed off by safety inspector, it is due to be released by 12 April at the latestSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

It is such an eye opener when you save receipts and tot up as you go along. Really keeps you on target and makes you question your spending!!!
I am so chuffed. My grocery shop only came to £26 last week for a family of 4:T. We were fed pretty well too if I say so myself:D
I've started April off well with getting a couple of the meat offers from Lidl weekend deals and a couple of herb seeds (50p for every 2 packs!) and onions (34p for a net of red onions) and 4pts milk. Came to £4.42 and I have immediately updated my signature to keep track.
Got to find tinyshoes recipe in a min for our tea later.
Let us know how you do with your signature!!
Hope you enjoy it, hope you find the recipe ok not sure I want to type it again. :rotfl:But I will if you need me to of course.0
