Late posting as usual, tried catching up, but giving up now and off to bed.
Had to just post that I was so sorry to hear the news of Mr3dogs...he is so lucky to have you there for him and I wish I knew the right things to say.
Wish I had more time to read the posts today, would have liked an order of wine..but nevermind. Got myself some more free packs of huggies, thanks to my sister for printing off some coupons for me.
I was writing a complaint to Yates with regards to when I went there the other day, checked what I had written with my OH and he said yeah its ok..but a bit petty..now I don't know whether to bother or not. Oh well really need my bed.
Sending love to you all x x0 -

Thank you all :A
I've seen a couple of posts on the last page to 3dogs about some bad news so I feel particularly selfish and embarassed to be saying I've had a day from hell, it's not fair considering the suffering that some of the Elite are currently going through:( 3dogs I think you've gone to bed now but I haven't yet read your post, I am sure that I'll be sending you some hugs along with everyone else very shortly when I do read it:A
I can't even begin to explain everything in my 'pot' so to speak and I'm not going to bore you all with the details:o:o I already talk far too much about my problems on here
:( Sorry! I sound like such a whinger!
Thank you for all your lovely thoughts though :Axx'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
mmw, do you know what edition/ approximate age the book was?mymerrywidow wrote: »i am 42, so it must be when i was 10ish, so 30 years ago
Abebooks have 1971 and 1981 editions , both published by Dean ttp://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/SearchResults?an=blyton&bsi=240&tn=magic+faraway+tree&prevpage=8
See items 175 and 250 for pictures to possibly help you identify which edition you had - though other sellers are cheaper.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
Up to date again ( for now)

:hello:Hello and welcomeYou're in for one crazy ride, stick around these guys are fantastic! :T I'm terribly sorry to hear about your Mum. I really hope everything will be ok for you and your family and the results will be good news. Will be thinking of you, keep in touch and as others have said, we're always here if you need an ear or a shoulder! :Axx
Stressed out tonight, everything went off well as could be at my mum's funeral yesterday and then today my one brother texts my other brother and asks when he is getting his share of mum's money.
So after holding it altogether yesterday despite a few digs from him I have gone off the deep end tonight and told him to take a hike for a good long while.
Is it me or is asking that a bit insensitive the day after the funeral?Awww FloFlo :A:A:A You poor poor thing. Bless you! Going through all this and there's always one isn't there? No it's not you, yes it is insensitive, not just a little bit but one hell of a lot, insensitive and selfish and insulting of your dear Mother's memory. I know it won't offer you much in the way of comfort but I would have done exactly the same. Don't keep it bottled up, seek out as much strength and support as you can from those around you that have the best of intentions and please look after yourself. Thinking of you :Axxx

I am off to bed again once she comes in bye.0 -
Thank you all for your lovely thoughts :A
3Dogs there are no words to accurately convey just how utterly amazing you and Alan are. You are an inspiration, an amazing lady, wife, friend and human being. What you and Alan have been going through and with the sad news you've received today it's a wonder that you are still standing, still motivated, still joking and determined to enjoy the time you have together and if there's any justice that will be a long long time :AI'm crying writing this....we may only be names on screens to eachother but your story has touched me in the way it would if we were friends in 'real' life. I think you're FAN FLIPPING FANTASTIC :T:T:T
Sending hugs to Frequent, I am often completely bamboozled by your posts but the humour you and Mad bring to this thread are irreplaceable
Thank you very much for the rec for Aqueous cream and possibly not using Simple soap :AI shall enquire next time I see my GP!:o
Best cornish pasty?
PHILPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D
Right that's me all caught up, atleast from lunchtime. No T's for me today, ran down to A's for whoopsies and bought another 12 pints of milk for 30p, 2 packs of cake bars for 20p and 2 packs of Mentos=FREE :T8 pints of milk went to my neighbour thoughAs JJ was saying earlier, so much of our weekly spend used to be on milk, I just can't resist it for 10p!:T
Night night all :Axxxxx'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0
