With all this talk of illness my mind is not really on tesco bargains at the mo as my mum was diagnosed with what they think is lung cancer (but htey still not sure) she had to have a operation last week to see if it has spread but fingers crossed it hasnt ...we are still waiting for the results from the op but hopefully things will go ok..
Will try and join in a bit more and if i find any bargains will keep you updated xx
((hugs)) for you, I hope that the results come back ok from the op that your mum had. It is always worse when you have to wait for results.
Come back anytime and post on here, you will get support and it is a place you can off load your worries. There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Aarghh! Don't know if it's all this Thorntons action or what but I'm really struggling to resist eating a big fat Easter egg right now! Have been so good on my diet for the last 11 weeks but I can feel myself starting to waver . Need to resist and go for a Vodka and Orange instead - less points :cool:0

May if growing outside as you need warm soil April if sowing in a greenhouse O/H is a gardener so blame him if its duff info lol
WONDERFUL:T
Got plenty of time to get seeds n plant em then!!!
I have only planted meadow seeds this year so far. For LOADS of packets in storage but can't remember what there is leftover from last years gardening spree.
Tip for soup makers:
Use the WHOLE broccoli, not just the teeny florets. The stem is gorgeously flavoured and you can't tell when you blend it.
Will be trying out tinyshoes recipe tomorrow most probably. The spiced rice with broccoli. I realise that a lot of the budget is spent on meat. I would much rather try and slip in veggie mains more often than I have done of late.
I am also shocked that a sixth of my weekly budget is spent on fresh milk and soya milk
I NEED to drink more water to cut it down a bit. I can't see how I can cut down the fresh milk though?! I might water it down a wee bit...!
Edit:
Another tip for soup makers:
Don't sling out the stems of coriander bunches. I used the leaves this morning in my 'spicy maggots'
But saved the stalks to add to the soup. Lovely, zingy and clean tasting soup when put with the fennel. :T:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Hello peeps!
I have a question for the Womblers among you, can you only add points from 2 receipts each day? Or if I visit more than 1 store can I add 2 receipts in each store?
I have a few to put on and one with 110 points:eek: but it looks like it's been steam-rollered lol! I shall smile in the face of troutdom and claim "my" points though!
