Don't want to be scaremongering here but just be careful about using old painted window frames for anything in contact with soil in the garden that is used for growing veg. As a chemist I perhaps think too deeply about these things but very old frames/doors i.e pre 1960/70s are likely to be painted with high lead content paint. Ive had 3 of the little garden green houses... all 3 are leaning against a gate.. Once you put a growbag or plants they become quite heavy... I think because they are leaning against the gate they dont topple over.. and I take them in during the winter months.. Ive had mine for about 5 years now
