Well after telling you the good news about my daughter and granddaughter, I've just had a call from one of my oldest and closest friends to say her lovely dad has passed away suddenly
It's so sad because she lost contact with him for many years and they only really became close after he divorced her stepmother (who would not allow him to have anything to do with her) about 8 years ago.
Reminded me it's Flo Flo's mum's funeral tomorrow isn't it?
Just wanted to say I will be thinking of you :grouphug:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
There's a mini Lenor (14 washes) about for £1 for anyone with SSM to use. Only saw it in one store though.0

Price flop mag came thru door earlier.
You can buy two finest* easter eggs for £5
but there is a coupon in price flop spend £10 on finest* eggs and save £2 so 4 eggs for £8 lol
Good shout there Tweets
That'll help bump up my £40 shop for next week and sort out the eggs that I need to replace seeing as [STRIKE]someone[/STRIKE] a mouse seems to have eaten half the ones I bought last week!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Happy Birthday Altojack _party_
Welcome NannyLala, I expect you might need one of these. :coffee: Give Nikki my best wishes for a speedy recovery, and give her a big hug from me.
Purdita it must be such a relief to hear your DD and Freya are safely home. Hope you get to see them both very soon. x
Hoping I might feel a bit more upbeat tomorrow not sure why I'm a bit down today. Anyway getting my hair cut tomorrow and usually feel better after a visit to the hairdresser but will have to wait for a colour as OH usually chucks one on for me. I do have quite a few Superdrug 99p ones from last year.
Mum has been referred to local hospice doctor with regards her pain relief, palliative care nurse did not think patches were the best option. Also mum has finally agreed to go and try a local centre where she can have lunch, chat to someone other than me, try a craft, maybe have her nails done or even a massage. I think it will do her the world of good. Not sure if I'm really cut out for this caring role.
