Glad to see things have quietened down since yesterday’s nonsense.Luckily the thread wasn’t closed down. Had that occurred on my forum, it would have been.

No more selfish nonsense please, folks; a lot of people depend on this thread just to help them to get through their day and it would be unfair to have them punished for others idiocy.

Got an outrageous 10 on the quiz, so well chuffed . All Q’s on classic literature (and 1 on history); none of my usual Tuesday selection (e.g. Baseball, US Football, and/or Jen A ).

I have a poor time, (though I notice not the slowest), but my God, I didn’t half get some really long winded Q’s. :eek: Anyone else notice the Tuesday and Wednesday quiz seems to have longer Q’s, or is it just me?

Okay, local store appears to have ‘removed’ all the 1p chocs. Mrs OB reported the other night they had been moved to the top shelves (like that would stop us), but checking last night we noticed all had gone. No way were they sold, there were way too many to have gone that quickly.

Not much going cheap in our Extra at the mo. Millions of Easter eggs in the Seasonal aisle; never seen so many in my life.

Sorry Miss L, I think you got all the Q’s I normally get on a Tuesday. I’ve never been a big US Sports fan and getting a whole Tuesday quiz full of Q’s about it is rotten luck.

To all those with friends/loved ones who don’t get the money saving thing; let me add me and Mrs OB to the list.

Snappy, Miss L, we feel your pain. We also get the “it’s too much work”, or, “I can’t be bothered with all that”.

They don’t get the message when we tell them our holidays abroad every year are paid for by MSE type savings, or that our kids get twice as much at birthdays and Christmas because we get everything at low, low prices.

MrsOB and I hardly ever pay full price for anything. I’ll even haggle in Currys and Comet to get a better deal on reduced stuff.

Just got back.. The Thornton's Eggs are the size of a Cadburys Cream Egg.

Had Two vouchers printed and SA let me use both She said last year the offer was extended due to the amount of eggs they have left and she expects the same thing to happen this year. She also said there was no problem using more than one voucher at a time... will pop back later in the week...:cool:


Got some more Butter and Cakes in Ts along with 8 Bread mixes...

Off for a quick catchup and then i'll make some bread...:D
