Mostly definitely. :D It is great to chat to someone who understands the Elite 11 urban dictionary. ;)

Was your meet today too? Remember reading something.

Yes, met the lovely Fudge Cake and her equally lovely mum today :j

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Do you want to know how OCD he is? I had a few bits of ironing left over that was stuff we won't wear and he said "Did you put that back in the right piles or just one pile"All my ironing is in the utility room and he likes putting it in each persons own pile:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:He is horrendous but he does know and laughs at himself sometimes;)Plus it has its plus side, my cupboards are so neat, Its just become a standing joke in our house now:)

I'd have love to have met you two, Tiny you just sound like the nicest person ever:T:T

    :o:o:o:o:o:o

    Not sure what to say.

Would have loved you to come along too. seeing as Wool27 has moved up country a bit looks like it will be me and DODO organising the bus trip for the Elite 11 meet. Or maybe Happy and Motherbear should organise it their end and come down to the Purbecks for a summer camp. :D

I drive my OH mad as I have OCD just like your OH and I KNOW if anything has been moved anywhere in the house. Except the latest credit card statement, DD1 has just got back to hers from a long weekend away and did not take it back with her after mother's day. Makes me feel all horrible as know I had it last week, trouble is OH can be a bit recycling happy. And I haven't quite been on top of things lately as I would like to be. I find it quite hard to cope losing things but love sharing things. :)

The big question is did you have a coffee/tea in a Ts cafe? It sort of goes along with the ropes of a MSE meet. ;)

    Evening all!!

After a trip to three different Mr T's today, I have nothing to report really.

I managed to get DTD on aborio risotto rice SEL 99p charged £1.12.

There was no easter egss, no easter gifts and al the magnums were the correct price :( also no frying pans or turkey trays.

I'm kicking myself though as yesterday I went into Mr T's H@v3rfordw3st and I saw th 12 pack export on the first aisle for £5. As i was going around the store i saw them for £12.19 but i thought they would just be a fiver and someone had forgotten to change the price. Went there today, and all of them are £12.19 :( I bet they were yesterday too and i'd have had a huge DTD!!

Purdita, congratulations and i hope your daughter is well soon.

Also I still havent had my phone call for my £1 table and chairs BUT i have had an email to say thank you for my first order. This is in addition to my confirmation email. Strange.

Don't get me started FK:mad: As someone with an OH that was a high quality self employed florist I know only too well how people can see the prices charged by florists as extortionate compared to Tesco/ Garage forecourt et al for a bunch of flowers/ pot plant but believe me the price is often (but not always to be fair) worth paying sometimes if you want a quality, cared for, conditioned product that has been kept constantly moist/dry(according to needs).

Whilst I'm on this rant should also point out that for Valentines Day, Mothers Day etc it is not the florist that is making the "killing" with inflated prices. The week before Valentines day the price from wholesalers and the daily Dutch refrigerated artics that deliver to florists massively hike their prices for fresh, long stemmed and thornless red roses. Cheaper products are available from Tesco, Aldi et al but it is a lottery in terms of what you will get.

On a final note and to be fair Tesco do have potentially good flowers but only if you buy them as soon as they come in or as 10p whoopsies

Totally agree with this - I brought some flowers at t's the day before mothers day - about 12pm... By Monday morning they were looking pretty sorry for themselves and by tuesday/weds over half were dead... and they had been kept just as instructed...
Anyone think its worth complaining to t's? They were a £12 bunch, and to be honest I was pretty annoyed I had paid full price for some carp flowers!
I am going to M&S next year as the bunch OH got me from DS were gorgeous and are still going... and they were cheaper too
So yeah.. anyone think its worth complaining?
