When does WH Smiths discount on stamps end?

I rarely send letters but a couple of books of 2nd class stamps would be handy just in case.

Sorry if it's already been posted....

"@BBCBreaking: First class stamps will increase from 46p to 60p and second class from 36p to 50p from 30 April, Royal Mail says."

Thanks Happy, I went into the Post Office yesterday & they didn't know, gives us a bit of time to stock up. Terrible prices but easier to remember

while we're on the subject sorry totally off topic, i haven't got a greenhouse and have got loads of seeds from the wilko sale last yr

not sure what on earth to do with them,
do i put them in trays and keep them in the garage
do i out them in trays and keep them outside
do i plant them straight into beds outside
do i put them in trays and keep them in the house??

    answers on a postcard:A

I'm no gardener but ... I've been re-using my Aero pots and free potting compost (B&Q) ... and cutting a clear plastic bottle in half (2ltr Sparkling Water) to make individual domes or mini greenhouses.

During the sunny days I pop them outside and for the cooler evenings/nights I bring them in.

    Thanks nahteb20,fourp and morsep :)
I have been back looking at the posts and its like a little community,I hope I have something worthwhile to add soon,I have had small a DTD refund before on a jar of curry sauce that should have been reduced I never thought of actively looking for items that could be DTD :) I'm still trying to get my head around the price checker thing (I'm sure it'll click eventually)
There was so much more I was going to say but I think I've overwhelmed myself.I do now have a little pile of coupons for bread mix sat on my desk which I am really happy with as I make my own bread (in bread machine) and I usually buy the multigrain mix anyway so I will now have an extra £8.50 in my pocket every month just thanks to that alone!
you dont have to have anything worthwhile, most of the stuff on here is waffle, and the odd tesco thing chucked in. welcome aboard the good ship.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered ... but can you buy stamps @ WHS with gift cards?

:D No Cisse again, I had high hopes for him, I hear Heidar Helguson is almost fit, I'm not a fan of his but he takes a good penalty. If only RVP could lose his shooting boots on Saturday :(

Another year older and still none the wiser. Yes, thank you folks, it's me you're all talking about!

Thank you for all the lovely wishes from near & far. It's a glorious day here, skies are blue, the sun in shining, the slurry smell has gone, folks are due down soon and the boys are on top form. Today can't get any better :D

P.S. thank you for all the PMs. There's too many to list but you know who you are.
  • are you bald then?

so the image i had of you at first was female, then male, then back to female (purple tights)and now its a slightly older person who is bald.
sorry if this has offended you

Not quite bald lol but my hairline has fallen out with my eyebrows bigtime! I also wear my hair very short anyway.

I need some sunblock for today but sadly never found and of the stuff people were getting DTD on....well not with the right SEL on anyway.
