It says £1 off wys £7 or more at the Meat Counter - so I think it's anything from the butcher rather than prepacked

    Many thanks Bookworm.. sounds right.

My £60 shop is taking some planning! Should have done it last night as my JTDs are different this morning - and not so good!!! :(
    Off I go...wish me luck!

They really do have an 'issue' with pricing these things correctly don't they? :rotfl:

I visited a few T's yesterday as I was out and about visiting family organising a trip for my brothers birthday next month.

Did notice the phone offers had run out yesterday but no OOD SELs.. No 1p chocolate or no DTD in any store.

I did notice alot of staff on all the shop floors though. And managers too.. In one of the stores I commented I'd never seen so many staff on the shop floor (there were almost as many staff as customers) and was told that they were changing the layouts of T's.. I saw this mentioned one or two times in this thread and wonder if this is nationwide.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I've seen that in a local T's too Lloydy. A SA I spoke to about it said that instructions came from HO and they have stopped selling a lot of the cheaper ranges and T's own brand have been swapped for big names. These big names eg Pepsi/Coke etc have paid to have their product over a larger shelf area. The SA said that if, on inspection, they were found to have deviated from the "Great Plan" then the store would be in trouble. So instead of a 2m shelf area having maybe 7 or 8 different products there might only be 1 or 2!

I'd been looking for Tesco own bottled water in 500ml bottles. A 12 pack was about £2.39. I complained because they now only sell 6 packs of branded water at over £2 a pack!

    It's only a game

    Thankyou Decay.

i just have to smile at all our friends who don't get this - and the odd poster!! I reckon folks around here are just pure snobby. I suggested to someone a couple of years ago buying something in bulk at Lidl. Her response: Shuddered and said "eeurgh, no way, my body is my temple and I just couldnt put that cheap muck in it" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: We barely speak now!! Sad to say she's had a lot of lesser style health probs with her temple recently too - is there some irony there?;)

Nope, both think you're a boring little troll.

Shouldn't you be out counting soup cans or something?

Maybe time for us to use the Ignore List rather that provoke another response :o

If no-one responds it will be a one way conversation for him/her and there will be no 'fun' in it. A bit like kids really :rotfl:

Celebrate, I'm totally the same as you and have given up trying to educate people. One friend of mine (who works super long hours but loves bargains) is made up when I tell her about things. But the majority of people say "ooh, i can't be bothered" or "it's too much effort". I want to shake them or give them a slap around the chops!!:rotfl: Don't they realise??
One friend made me feel like such a cheapskate with her sarcastic put downs so now she obviously isn't told anything by me. I secretly laugh - if you want to pay full price, then go ahead. I have more money and more products and food in my house than I would have thought due to this thread. Aah, you all are lovely :D

I totally agree. I have the same situation. I did 'indoctrinate' one of the lads at work the other night, and he has really taken one-p-itis to heart. When i saw him the next time he told me he had found some tco's, and bought 16, leaving some on the shelf. He said the buzz he got on leaving the store was amazing!!:rotfl::T We all know that feeling don't we?
I haven't been on here much over the last few days, and have managed to catch up this morning, and this is a quickie. Have more to post later, including a possible glitch on the 'voucher knives' ;)

Czerniacha, regarding your SW. Have you seen the support thread on here?

Lots of support, info and ideas. I joined SW 9 weeks ago and have lost 18lbs so far. I can't believe how much you can eat. I struggle to eat 3 meals a day + snacks, but I've found if you don't keep up the intake your weight loss slows. I've also found that one 'naughty' meal such as fish & chips or a chinese, just after your weigh in, doesn't seem to affect your loss.:T
