  • Evening all! Have decided to reactivate my FB account (intermittently!) so I can have a go at SSM. Someone posted on here last week I think a list of what tihngs you need to do to obtain the different coupons etc. Would really appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction of the post as I can't find it for searching! TIA x

On another note, soooo annoying but I have been to one of my locals and there is loads of Denby up for DTD taking but after my last experience of Denby DTD in there I'm too scaredycat to give it a go again! Have been wondering about going at a different time of day in hope a different SA will be on the desk but the same one must live there I reckon! Grrrr!

Just back from Mr S to make the most of the Rustler's voucher before expiry. I got one Meatball and one Southern Chicken Sub but didn't get till spit - had checked and these are the ones on at £1 in T's - what did I do wrong? Are you supposed to get so many products at S's before it price checks? Am frustrated and confused by it all!

Any help gratefully received. Many thanks

I think there's a minimum spend before they compare. Could be £15  Could be wrong on the amount tho

S you have to spend £20
A you have to buy 8 different items. Not all need to compare.

The more that do the better the bm
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

I used a tin after celebrations, and it worked perfectly.

Silly question, how do you get it out? Use baking parchment to line the tin? Does that need cutting a pice for the base and one for the sides (vague memory of my mum doing this) or can I be lazy and squash/fold it in one piece?

    Good evening everyone...

Queen of Cheap...Happy birthday, hope your day has been wonderful..:):)

Shopping at Cribbs Causeway today with a friend and we collected our prizes from Hotel chocolate, were only allowed to redeem 1 voucher each but very happy with our free chocolate. Assistant told us that several people have been going in each day to collect prizes and that one woman had won 3 Ostrich Eggs.

Am loving this weather, spent the day at the beach yesterday....BBQ and playing cricket....:D:D

Floflo, my heart goes out to you, I am sure you will find inner strength to read a tribute for your Mum. My husband was so upset when his Dad passed away a few years ago but he found the strength to read at the service and said he was so pleased that he did so as it was the last thing he was able to do for his Dad. His Dad was Australian and we arranged for the Australian flag to be draped over his coffin and for 'Waltzing Matilda' (he always played this song on his piano) to be played as the coffin left the church. It brought a smile to people's faces at such a sad occasion.
    Born to glitch :D

Not the best weather for wombles they prefer a slight breeze - so might visit my favourite womble territory tomorrow if back holds up and weather conditions permitting

I also want to visit MrT as have some of hubs ssm vouchers so if the knives aren't working to boost up the spend very much will use some of these to just get half the spend and also get some bread mixes - not sure how many of these I would dare take through in one go - hubby said to buy 40 but I am a cowardy custard

Just found some of my old posts in there too :)

And ben500 and MUNT who seemed very up on the legalities and Constantine who worked for Tesco.

Plushchris is another one - he does still post on MSE but I haven't seen him post on the Tescos threads anymore. Here's one of his posts to take notice of:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=3465598&postcount=2669

HeyDude posted a great guide to getting misprices too: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=3360249&postcount=2

It's still relevant today (to DTD rather than R&R) so I'll add it to the first post :)

    :T:T:T:T:T

What good advice - wish I had read it before I got so more DTD
sausages today :rotfl: although the CS was very pleasant and helpful.
