Thanks, I feel a little unsure about leaving the car & car keys with a stranger but I think we'll give it a go...

    thanks and thanks :D

I'm well chuffed with SW :D

AND I can still eat my Thorntons mints :j (only sometimes tho :o:p)

Glad it's going well for you. Well done on the first weeks weightloss. And yes, you can have some Thorntons mints, and TPO's now & again too. My loss has been scuppered this week, due to working nights. It is sooo hard at 4am and the crew have bought donuts in!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Despite not losing, I'm pleased not to have put any on, so no real damage done;)

Visited the funeral home today with my wonderful big brother - who has been my rock through this. Still doesn't seem real, didn't seem like mum there, yet was awful to leave her there if that makes any sense.

Got to make some notes tonight about what to say at the funeral home, might tel a few of mums jokes and a limerick or too, do you think the one about the boy on the burning deck would go down well at a cremation? She wasn't a poetry type, more the dirty joke type, her and happychap would have got along well, lol.

I know what you mean, when I went to see my dad it didn't seem it was him there. :(

William Blake once said, "Excessive sorrow laughs, excessive joy weeps."

Our emotions can be very confusing when they are excessive. Laughter and weeping are both outlets for emotion so I think you ought to go with what you think is fitting. :(

I am so sad for you. I have never experienced a loss like yours so can only imagine how painful it is :(

Niki you out there im having a really bad no smoking day today, its over 3 weeks now but so tempted today .
I know i will not have one but its hard give me some of your wise words pls.
i quit 4weeks ao. and found it hard going. i am unpicking woolley jumpers at the moment, it keeps my hands busy. the jumpers came from the jumble and i washed them. the wool is going to the elderly ladies who knit gloves/hats for a charity close to my heart.

i found with the not smoking, just take it one hour at a time.

You are both doing so well - as lots of people have said try to keep busy and just take it one day at a time

Has anyone noticed on HUKD someone's posted a 4 on a page pdf of the bread coupon, Ive done it on word but mine doesnt scan.. Might be worth seeing if this one does... ;);)

My 4 a page scans well in MrS and MrM - haven't tried in MrT as yet

Hubs has just opened a package and he won again on the clean Campaign a lovely make up set - so keep going everyone just a couple more days - I reckon lots of people stopped doing it and there are quite a few prizes each day

OK - off for a [STRIKE]womble[/STRIKE]stroll to see if I can find any MrAs paper streamers in the car park to get a voucher
