Just had a phonecall from Kandco cancelling my order for a dining table and chairs - apparently there was a mistake on their website :rotfl: :rotfl:
How did I not notice that ;)

Anyway he offered me a 10% code to use on my next order as compensation :rotfl:

    Needless to say I declined!

I am often given gift cards when I return something but to be honest I don't mind as I will then use them up when I need to put petrol in :) I will also quite often buy gift cards if I am only buying a few items and want to use moc's and don't want to draw attention to the total being something like 30p  having used about 10 moc's & jtd voucher, I always think £10.30 looks a bit better!

    Afternoon people!

What a lovely day to be sat in a pub garden just watching the world go by

and its not over yet :j

Does anyone know if you can download books to a kindle without connecting to wi-fi? Mine does not want to connect, even though the password is correct. Can you save your book to a file location and then drag it across to somewhere when its plugged in?

    :bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake:

Brought some cake in for everyone to share

Thank you for the birthday wishes :D

Niki you out there im having a really bad no smoking day today, its over 3 weeks now but so tempted today .
I know i will not have one but its hard give me some of your wise words pls.
As someone else just said, hour by hour, trust me it will pass;)Find something to do, I know its so cliche but it works. I still get the odd craving and I'm nearly 5 months and when they come back its with a vengance:eek:but I go and do something even though its still at the back of my mind. My strongest thing that stops me starting again isnt my health:eek::eek:which it should be it's the money;) How can we all possibly save all this money on here but in essence just burn £10 notes:eek::eek::eek:Me,Mymerrywidow,Old bear and quite a few others know exactly what your going through, your so not alone on this;)YOU CAN DO IT!! And well done to everyone who has managed it:T:T:T:T

:rotfl:it was in hindsight but I may be scarred for life & never attempt another DTD

Not sure why you wouldn't let me ask the security guard to get a box down from the top shelf to see if there were any 1p sweets in it :D

Wait till we are both 100% fit, give me a can of coke & see what I get up to :rotfl: Mr Lala won't let you out with me again

Its handy you got all those Haribo in that glitch a few weeks ago we wouldn't want him to starve.

Have you taught the dog to put his toys away in the new box you bought him yet ?

No the dog hates the toy box I bought him, he tips it over and drags all the toys out so it's just become another thing to trip over:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
i quit 4weeks ao. and found it hard going. i am unpicking woolley jumpers at the moment, it keeps my hands busy. the jumpers came from the jumble and i washed them. the wool is going to the elderly ladies who knit gloves/hats for a charity clse to my heart.

i found with the not smoking, just take it one hour at a time.
So true, hour by hour is the best way and eventually you'll forget you smoked. This time last year I was having an op and I wasnt dreading the op, I was dreading the not being able to smoke before hand:eek::eek:Now on Wednesday I have'nt even got to think about not smoking before it. Little things like that make me really pleased with myself:o

A huge Thankyou to Snap-ant :T :T :T :T :T :Tfor the Lidl checkout champ fb competition the other day.
I've just had an email saying I've been selected as the winner of this weekends £50 voucher :j :j :j :j :j :j
I've never won anything before :(
What on earth can I spend £50 on in Lidl though? :rotfl:

motherbear, I think you'll be astonished what you can find in Lidl - continental cheeses and cured meats, Greek meze and other nice nibbles, jars of peppers anda other antipasti, meat, fruit and veg and of course wine.

Hey, sounds like a dinner party, so when are we all coming round? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Congratulations on your win :T:T:T
    Hope is not a strategy.
