Hi All
Managed to find 3 bottles of wine OOD sel so free wine
Just doing my JTD shopping list tomorrow and for those that go through as much Ribena as I do then the following maybe good
2L bottle in Mr T's £4.39 each and in Mr A's 2 for £6.00 = £2.78 JTD
I have 3 £5 off £40 spends so trying to get most for my money.
Do people normally buy something to take them over £40 then take it back? Now on the 5:2 diet.
Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go0 -

Sheer volume of people in the store means lots of competition and often from people who are willing to pay more for it than us.
Secondly each store seems to have its own little idea of when to do reductions on a sunday. I've seen stuff all still on the shelf and half price or more at the end of the day, on other occasions its all been slashed by midday and gone.
Today we got a load of fresh pineapples 15 mins before store close at 1p each. There were tons of them, but there was nothing else.
Try to go at a quieter time if you can. Specially make the effort if the weather is foul as others may not go out.
Thanks, FK.I had to pop down to T's anyway, so was hoping to get a few whoopsies but had no real luck with it. Everything was at 20% to 50% only and still flying off the shelves.
On the upside, it looks like a lot of fresh pre-packed produce (veggie aisle) had sell-by dates of the 26th. I'm sure many people will be lucky tomorrow. Shame I'm working in the evening. Luck of the draw, I guess...GC September 2012 - £49.04/£80 |GC October 2012 - £50.28/£80 |GC November £63.59/£60 (one adult only)0 -

Typical, the 2 days I cannot go this week (Thurs and Saturday) are the 2 dates I have received
What a waste of time!!!!
There's a thread here where you can swap http://www.hotukdeals.com/misc/sun-alton-towers-swaps-thread-official-swap-thread-post-offers-here-898837?page=5#post13982966:grinheart “Truly Great Madness Cannot Be Achieved Without Significant Intelligence.”:grinheart0 -

Yes I often buy a toaster or kettle or jacket and then change my mind
They don't usually take the clubcard points back either!

Mum loves Cadbury buttons and every year I get her an egg for her b'day but this year, we have so much choc, I told her I wasn't getting her one!:o:o:o:o Well I had a £2.70 JTD burning a hole in my pocket and there was 1 lonely Buttons egg for £1 on the shelf so thought I'd get that and 2 blocks of Anchor-price flop = 30p to payBut then it got me thinking about the easter egg price flop&was gonna buy treasure eggs but there was only 5 and while I was looking at them someone came along and took 4!
So no go. So I picked a £10 egg that will 'unfortunately' be the wrong one
and picked up some more bits as I figured I'd take it over £40 to get my £5 off. Well then I realised I didn't have enough cash! So left my basket with the security guard!
and popped out to the cashpoint....and I wombled a £12 off £80 ending today!! :j :j:j:j:j:jSo that worked out very nicely
Lovely and warm here so after walking back in the sun I treated myself to a Rolo cone I bought RTC in an Express a few months back, just waiting for a day like today!
Well done NKLK that's FANTASTIC!
