Dont go Calmspirit please!:( It's my lifeline too and 1000's of others I'm sure.

We do need to get back to normality and remember as it's been said a few times, this is an open, public forum that posters, lurkers and T£$co staff alike can all read. The bargains we post for each other can always be seen by the "wrong" people so are we going to stop posting them?

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO we are not!:T:T:T

I can't believe how many new people are here today asking about the knives! I didn't realise that this thread had such a following. The funniest thing is, the more that people deny that there is a knife glitch, the more people believe there is one.
From Monty Python's Life of Brian:

Brian: I'm not the Messiah! Will you please listen? I am not the Messiah, do you understand? Honestly!
Girl: Only the true Messiah denies His divinity.
Brian: What? Well, what sort of chance does that give me? All right! I am the Messiah!
Followers: He is! He is the Messiah!

I'm obviously not getting my point across as intended. It's sometimes not possible to express an opinion through a keyboard as it would be if talking to someone.

There is a lot of waffle in these threads, and it is endless (We're nearly at 100,000 posts and rising). I don't find it a problem.

"Kindly leave us alone to run our thread the way we like." - That's my point, it's an open forum and all are welcome but only if you do what we like.

Apologies if I've offended anyone, after all it's just an opinion, not an attack on anyone.

I think you are now missing the point. If you contributed more then you would be part of that 'we' too. Its not a rule, nobody made it up, its simply human nature. Nobody is actively excluding anyone, people are excluding themselves by not being part of the community.

can i venture an opinion here

i am not going to quote anyone in particular but for anyone saying or feeling that this thread labels people lurkers or leaves people out..

This thread is unique to any i have found. I have recently found my way here and already i have been welcomed and accepted and made to feel at home and a part of what we are. Something really wonderful has been created here by the goodwill and generosity shared by everyone involved.

To some it may seem an ocean of conversation, which can move extremely rapidly, but it is an ocean we are creating together and one in which we find and share real treasures, many of which impact significantly on our lives.

To those who feel they are unfairly classed as lurkers, no one expects a single person to be involved in every conversation and should you take the time to notice, no one person really is. But we all are interested, we care, and we appreciate the contributions everyone makes and want to contribute ourselves. That is all anyone here is asking.

To all those i have had the pleasure of 'meeting' and who have welcomed and helped me so much since i found my way here, i am and continue to be grateful.

And to this mark, whoever you are, i do not know why you do what you do. But this place is not about trying to get away with things. This place is about community and support, financial and emotional. Many struggle even to buy the food they need and the support here is for the betterment of people's lives and allowing them to find a way when they felt they could not. So before you try to undermine something you see as black and white, think about what you are really doing.

I am sorry for the length of the post.

Yeah its a height thing rather than age. She's quite tall for her age so qualified by about 5-10cm. I saw a couple of smaller children height wise do it too.

I was a bit worried when we finally sat down but looked at her face and she looked a but flustered. I asked her if she was ok etc and she said yeah.. up and down, up and down :rotfl:

Then again i'm not the sharpest knife in the draw.

Will not be rushing off to t chasing knife set.

H.C, mate have mentioned to you before, don't respond.

Noticed your FB is closed, missing the funnies.

I need to reactivate it so I can run the MSE DVD club and MSE Home Swap.:rotfl:
