So can someone let me know about the knifes on offer pretty please.

I got knife coupons but no way am i spending that much on knifes even with 70% off.

    Thanks

I'll let you have some knives for free when I've removed them from my back.

.....and then used the term endless waffle in the same sentence. You can't have it both ways. This community is what it is because of the 'endless waffle' not in spite of it.

Human nature will always say that if you are not part ofthe community that you are an outsider. Its the same the world over.

I'm obviously not getting my point across as intended. It's sometimes not possible to express an opinion through a keyboard as it would be if talking to someone.

There is a lot of waffle in these threads, and it is endless (We're nearly at 100,000 posts and rising). I don't find it a problem.

"Kindly leave us alone to run our thread the way we like.
" - That's my point, it's an open forum and all are welcome but only if you do what we like.

Apologies if I've offended anyone, after all it's just an opinion, not an attack on anyone.

I think I understand why you are saying this FK and to a degree do agree with you. In life you will get out what you are prepared to put in and there is no such thing as a free ride.

But, this thread with it's own community is part of the greater community that is MSE. That includes registered lurkers, unregistered lurkers, occasional posters, regular posters, whatever. The vehicle that provides this community at no cost to any of us is MSE and I do feel a little uncomfortable if division rears its ugly head. And let's face it, it isn't too pretty and it is not just new contributors that feel unsettled.

Enough - sunshine calling so too nice a day to sit here.

Couldn't have put it better myself! Now back to normality please!( Whatever that is!:D)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

A day off from T's for me today, busy putting together a shopping list to make the most of the £5 off's next week. Did someone say a new Price Flop was out this week? I seem to remember another yogurt coupon possibly...:)
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Any chance someone could PM me when this knife nonsense has finished? I don't think I can be bothered with this thread so long as it's all "whats the glitch?", "PM me", "wow, thanks for telling me", etc

Please don't misread this as a request for the details to be sent to me. I really, totally and truly don't care. I just want to know when normal business can be resumed as this used to be a great thread with some OT chat thrown in here and there.

I'm fed up of reading post after post of requests for something that is intended to either infuriate the troll by being kept secret or discredit them by feeding false information. Either way it seems so many people are PM'ing the secret willy nilly that by now the troll and Ts surely know what is going on

I don't see that this has served any purpose other than to flag up how many lurkers there are. We all knew there was a lot

We also all know that Ts monitor the thread so what does it matter if some troll goes running to them on FB to tell them something they already know? People have probably been doing it by phone/email long before Mark showed up
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

Here ya go, one of a few threads

Stackable MOC's at its peak, around £25 worth of MOCs against a shop costing £5...at its low point you'd still be around £5 in credit.. plus tons of CC points on each shop..:D

Incase your reading Mr Noob Neck Tiller.. Tesco made alot more out of it than we did... They claimed to be 'selling' more stuff than Boots, hence got hugemongous discounts when buying stock. They never told the suppliers they were giving tons of stock away..Thats why this deal lasted for months..we made out of it and so did Ts...

You've made me nostalgic too, the good old Daily Mail.. I remember buying a paper at my local newsagent for 50p, then going to Ts and buying another 10 papers with the £5 coupon.. resulting in another 10 x £5 coupons...:rotfl:My Saturdays were very busy days back then :p

This was in the day when Ts accepted any coupon against your shop regardless if you bought the product or not.. And again T's made a profit from this as they received a Handling Fee for every coupon they accepted...

So Mr Tiller, Yes Ts drop the odd glanger now and then, but they also plan and abuse alot of them themselves, so shove that where the sun dont shine..

I'm down to my last 4 hand washes, Boxes of Carex, Men's Radox, Nivea shower stuff, deodorant etc. Anyone also remember the value toothbrushes/soap etc to take the value to just over the £5? T was also very kind to the homeless during this period. Our local shelter was so appreciative of my weekly visits! ;) A couple of the girls who were staying there said how lovely it was to have proper toiletries to use. Rightly or wrongly, I also made up bags of all necessary toiletries for all that left periodically when they were housed.

From memory, wasn't it Kevin (at HO CS) in those days that went from Mr Nice guy to Mr not so nice guy?

Wasn't it also the beginning of what stopped t letting people using the points to buy new cars? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry to quote myself but didn't SkidMark rear his ugly head after I came back to the forum? Maybe he didn't, but either way it feels like what he is doing is a two fingers up to the thread because I'm here and as we all know, someone on here has it in for me.:(

No I don't think it's aimed solely at you HC. There were several arguments on here last week.
Just think that whoever it is, reckons they are being clever by using a Mr Happy profile picture.
There is obviously a disgruntled member or ex member who has it in for the whole thread.
I would have a lot more respect for anyone who has a genuine grievance to post on the thread rather than try to sabotage it for everyone in the cowardly way they are doing.
If you are reading this "Mark Tiller" maybe it's time to show your face
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

If this thread sends them into moral panic its a good job they weren't around during the height of r&r, h&b or the argos ipod voucher glitch they would have blown a gasket.

What was the Argos iPod voucher glitch?
