Arghhhhh...............thought we would take an impromptu holiday to bautiful Plymouth last Friday for a week. It was very very difficult to not read the thread but I thought I would catch up but ooooohh nooooo!

There is a new thread....HC went....HC came back....you're all crazy bakers(bread that is)....there is some prat called Mark....and don't even get me started on knives????

I thought I'd done well managing DTD on the freelance phones and Calloway wine whilst on hols and cheap Mothers Day things!!! Well that settles it, I can never go away again!! Please will someone PM me about the 1p knives as my coupon wallet is weighed down with the vouchers or are the 1p knives something else??

On a positive note Plymouth was fantastic, saw all partners ex-work buddies (bootnecks), had a trip on the ferry to Mount Edgcumbe, had a gorgeous meal at River Cottage at Williams Yard, went to a christening in Stonehouse barracks, visited the Hoe and the weather was beautiful!

Sorry, i am just laughing to myself at the amount of new people who have come straight on and asked for info on the knives.
Admittedly i haven't been on here that long, but there are so many new people.
    :rotfl::rotfl:

Shows how many people lurk, and don't thank the OP.

I would like some new knives but don't think could get to a T's and get them.

    Good Morning everyone
Went out looking for phones on Monday.Started at 7am and finally found some at 9am after going back to first T's I visited. How I missed them first time I dont know .Been ill ever since but it was worth it :rotfl:.Got 2 lots as I dont go out much and had to make the most of it :D.
I did get trouted with going through ss and received JTD but I was having none of it.Was in too much pain and in no mood to be messed about.Did tell CS to phone HO for their policy and as soon as I said that she went away for a few minutes, came back and said that I would get DTD of £200. :T Used a £5 off £40 and £5 off £50.
Sainsburys has Philadelphia 200g normal flavour for 78p.Used 2 £1 off coupons.Thought it might take the extra 44p off other shopping so bought something else in case till went into minus

Thanks to the :A who sent me full instructions about the knife glitch.
Looking forward to collecting the lot now
  • Oh man, on Tuesday afternoons I go and do a singalong at the old folks home near me and one of the old ladies (Betty) died on Thursday.

I've just had a phone call from her son asking me if I'll sing her favourite song at her funeral.

I'd love to do it for her but I don't think I can get through the song under the circumstances, I'll blub all the way through it :o

Should I do it or tell her son that I don't think I'd be much help and probably set off the whole congregation? :(

The song is Release Me, I sung it every week for her and she would get out of her chair and just sway along :A

PS can someone pm me the knife glitch please? thanks :)
