Not feeling too great today with all the stress of everything at home. It's Mum's birthday Sunday, it's not a massive milestone, it was her 50th last year and I took her to London for a long weekend, but still, a birthday is a birthday and she deserves a bit of escapism even for just one day. Now my Aunty, who fair enough has been looking after my Grandfather this week, has said she has to get away for the weekend so now it's up to Mum to look after my Grandparents meaning I won't even see her on her b'day and nobody will even say Happy Birthday to herIt might not seem like much but small losses like this are compounded by the overall selfishness and negligence that our 'family' has shown throughout the last 9 years and it hurts that much more, that we'll be seperated and she's just been sidelined once again. This isn't a new occurence, my Mum's so lovely and selfless, in her mind she always comes on the bottom rung because that's how she's always been treated. She should feel special and worthy enough to be bothered that her own parents/sister don't even acknowledge her birthday but because it's always been like this, she doesn't feel she deserves more. She even had to buy her own 18th b'day cake !!!!!!! I just want her to be happy!

lutzi1 did you even sleep last night???!!!:eek: Hope it's a lovely wedding that you officiated today, fabulous weather for it!
Fudgie, sorry family life is tough at the minute, everything goes in phases and I always tell myself that everything is history in 6 months time. I'm sure your mum really appreciates having such a lovely caring daughter as you, and I'm sure you'll do something to make her bithday special, even if it can't be on the day itself. :A
I was awake from I think about 3am last night, I go through phases when I don't sleep very well, though getting off to sleep is never a problem. It's fine, I'm used to it. Today's wedding was interesting, though the people were nice - but the first bride I've married wearing her pyjamas and dressing gown - and yes, I do mean that literally. After the night I'd had, I could have joined her! :rotfl:Hope is not a strategy.0 -
Surely they're photocopies with the amount they've been selling :eek:0 -

But on the receipt....doesn't it say 2 for £7/3 for £10 on the multibuy discount? So again it is one with variable quantites, though that doesn't seem to be advertised on the chicken. Wonder if it's advertised on the SEL? :A
ETA: Yes it is variable quantities again on the meat offer! :j

So this means that buying in multiples of 2 or 3 from any of the packs listed will result in either a £1 or £2 multibuy discount! :T:T:T:T0 -
